I actually feel the Colts could pull this one out. Sorgi will stink it up, but I think the defense will pick a couple of VY passess to set up some easy scores.

You guys might be surprised. Sorgi and our second and third stringers might just fool you. I just want Tony to leave Peyton and Regie in long enough to get the records they are chasing. Then, he can rest whoever he wants to. The key comment that was made is that the Titans only scored 10 points on the Jets. Surely, our second and third stringers are as good as the Jets.

I think that the Colts are ready for the post season,but i am concerned about Vinateri.He missed several very important kicks,costing the Colts 2 games.Those 2 games{NE and SD},would have Indy 14-1 at the worst,and undefeated at the best.I hope the offense is prepared to score TDs,and not depend upon his foot to win games.He still appears to be somewhat shaky in his kicking.I am hoping for the best-GO COLTS!!!

I read (somewhere)that the speculation is Vinatieri experienced an injury to his placement (non-kicking) foot....

For some reason, I think we'll win. Tenn will buckle under the pressure and we'll score a def TD. Manning will lead us to two opening TD drives, one to Marvin. Sorgi may just get us in the endzone, and will at least get us 2 FGs. I thiknk we win 27-23. If the key starters are in there for more than 2 series I will be pissed.

I say play the starters until its over,they have a week off anyway and Peyton needs some reps with Marv. Resting guys to long is not the right move they lose their edge,also we don't want the Titans in the playoffs it could come back to haunt us. Also going into the playoffs coming off a loss is not good. Playoffs start this week against Titans, I say we come out and STOMP them and hit postseason in full stride. GO COLTS!!!!!!!!

Thanks ColtsfanSince1958 for that info,however i continue to harbor concerns regarding Mr. Vinateri's foot-remember Vanderjat and 2005?I still have some fiery discussions with co-workers about that team, and that game-i mean,how many rookie qbs make shoestring tackles on DBs returning an intercepted pass for the winning TD? Then afterwards, the leading percentage kicker in NFL history cannot connect his most important kick of the year? I say if Vinateri is not fully recovered,then sit him, and draft a kicker.In the meanwhile,score lots and lots of TDs.GO COLTS!!!

I agree. I am concerned if we need to rely on Adam for a long field goal to win a playoff game. I am still struggling with the 29 yard miss at the end of the game against SD. It would be great to see him knock a couple through against the Titans to build some confidence going into postseason.

With that said I think our kick/punt coverage is every bit as much to blame for the two loses as anything. Welker killed us with punt returns of 35 and 23 yards in the loss to the Patriots (the last one led to their final touchdown). Plus I need not remind anyone that Sproles single handedly beat us with 89 and 45 yard returns for TD's the following week. This troubles me more than anything.
