Full story: Belleville News-Democrat

Brett Favre has always been exciting. Playing for the Viqueens will certainly add some excitement to this season. It already has and we're still over a month from camp.

Ya gotta admit it ya still want to see him play, ya probably even kinda wish he was still on your team. This ought to make the NFC North a fun group to watch this year, Cutler, Favre, 3-4 Def. lotta changes gonna be keepin us on the edge of our seats. Now thats entertainment.LOL!!!!!!!!

Totally agree with you guys. I hate seeing Brett in Minnesota, but man it should be fun to watch. Cutler in Chicago and Rodgers in GB. Lions are the weak team now, but they'll get it together. This division will be very competitive and not the dull, average stuff we have been used to watching; bout time!!!

This should be the most exciting division to watch with all these good QB's, including the Lions with Stafford and Culpepper. I hope Rodgers shines like last year (but get 4-5 games to go our way this year), don't see another division with this many good QB's.

Your description of the division's QBs makes this year sound a hell of alot more exciting than last year!

Good lord, Brett was my idol for the longest time. I met rodgers 2 years ago after the NFC champ game. He is a poser and will never = Favre. Anyway, my family (from Superior WI) all have liking for the vikings, so I will have to disown them if Favre defects.

A Hall of Famer, A Pro Bowler, one of the best young QB's in the NFL, and the #1 Draft Pick, which will be fun to see how this kid turns out, looks like a fun season to watch for people who are fans of the game. I can't wait till this season starts and these negative dumbasses will shut the hell up. I think the Bears, Packers or Vikings will be traveling far into the playoffs, if not a couple of them, this division will be much stronger than last year, look how good the games were last year in the division, now you add Cutler and Favre, enuff said.

Favre is a fool.
He has gone from a living legend to loser hack.
Is it the money or the adoration he misses?
No one trusts or takes him seriously now.
He has lost the respect of his peers and the public.

My family (from Superior WI) don't like the vikings, so I can disown them for any reason I want. But seriously, many of my friends (from Superior) are Viking fans. I know that it is going to kill them to be forced into cheering for Favre. They won't be able to change after nearly two decades of hating the guy. It will ruin every Viking win for them. And every time the Vikes lose they will be blaming it all on Favre and hating the Vikes for signing him. Personally, I am really looking forward to this.

Plus, look at the bright side for the Packers. Ted Thompson has brought a culture of losing to GB. 4-12, 8-8, 6-10, finishing third in the division, and missing the playoffs has become acceptable to many Packer backers. I hope that Favre playing in purple will make EVERYONE in the Packer organization and EVERY Packer fan start to care about winning again. Favre playing in Minnesota may end up being one of the best things to ever happen to the Packers.

They missed the Super Bowl with Favre too losing to the Giants in his self proclaimed "Last Game".
Why must we be fooled by the Favre?

d-nile's not just a river in egypt. Vikes 13-3 & in the dance? yeah, we'll all feel rotten, lol. enjoy your 6-10 repeat. You'll have gloating rights over us vies fans. yeah, keep telling yourself that. When Kaumpman fails in the 3-4, why not release him? he'd look good in purple. Haha! gonna have to franchise a top 4-3 DE who doesn't fit even a little a 3-4 or lose him for no compensation! hilarious! Then, when we sack AR another 3 times a game, you can gloat to the vikes fans about that, too! what fun!

The GREEN BAY PACKERS have been the best football team in the world a record twelve (12) times compared to the Viqueens zero times, As you say: d-nile's not just a river in egypt. LMAO at you, you loser.

funny how whenever things go to pot for you fudgepackers, you talk about the 1950's. exciting stuff. you have one NFL superbowl. those first two were not even called superbowls. just some kinda weird retro homage to ancient football. one in the modern era. it was by favre. now we'll have something in common with you! one modern era championship with the same QB. Need a raft for your river trip?

so you think Brett will help you in late dec like he did last year with his 1 td 9 int and a 46 qb rating, considering he sucks in the cold the last few years and you are in denver,Chi outside in the cold? Good luck with that! and putting an old man on astroturf in a hefty bag is questionable as well.as far as KAMPMAN on of the best DE no OLB,dont worry about him Kevin Greene will have him ready to go and he will score another probowl season, while we sit back with dbacks picking Favre off left and right as he is so pumped to beat TT,he will choke the INT;s will be at a premium that day.Sacking AR 3 times, blah blah blah every year we hear how great the d is and our qbs are throwing for 300 yards,so you still can be thrown on and with a year under his belt,AR is that much better adn a healthy Grant, and of course Jennings,Driver you guys wont be getting to AR before the ball is out, have fun stopping the arial attack!

Favre hasn't signed anything yet,nor is it known if he will be healthy.

If he does sign and is healthy 1 of 2 things will happen.
It will be 50/50 he will be good.
It will be 50/50 he will be bad.

That is what I love about the game.
You have to play them.
Football live is right around the corner and I love it.

You'll have no defense this year & still have a qb who finds a way to lose games. We won't have TJ to try even harder to lose, so expect one less win. yes, i think favre is less effective in the cold. so, if we were to lose the dome, your comments would have merit. you simply point out why he's a fit here & not green bay. look at our schedule. we only have one cold game late in the year. i count it as one of our 3-4 losses. As for picking off favre, how has he looked when green bay could provide a mildly talented running back? a Chester taylor is a mildly talented running back. AD is not...you won't have the ball long enough for error rodgers to throw for 300.

50/50's way off. with team talent, i think only injury could derail favre from probowl cal. year.
