I wonder why two ex-coaches (Dungy and Ditka) would even comment on a professional football player that they’ve never coached? As for their questioning Cutler's maturity, maybe these two former coaches are unhappy that labor, Cutler, was able to force his will on an organization – contrary to their particular current belief that management is always right. But the exception was when Ditka uttered "Halas throws nickels around like manhole covers". Oh how the times have changed.

"That's the kind of quarterback who is relaxed and says,'Let's play ball.' "

That's what I like to hear! Enough with the negativity in this town. This is suppose to be enjoyable. We shall see how it all turns out, but man, we clamor for a quarterback, get one and people complain, good grief.
-They also beefed up the line, Pace, guy from Carolina, Scheffer from Cleveland, first rounder healthy
-have what WILL BE one of the premier TE in the league,
-a playmaker receiver in Hester (think Steve Smith type guy),
-Forte with some running room, Kevin Jones (former first round pick) healthy from a knee injury,
-a guy who can make plays if utilized in Garrett Wolfe (think Darren Sprolls didn't have an impact in the play offs last year?),
-Cutler's former teammate Bennett (who lets not forget has the most receptions in SEC history),
-couple of sleepers in the draft (speedy Knox and a guy who played a major role in getting Heisman for his quarterback Iglesias)

Start focusing on the weapons they DO have. These guys are 3rd and 4th round draft picks. What do you think Marshall was? If they get someone great, but guys like Plaxico can mess up the team dynamic. Why hasn't TO won anywhere? Because he is a cancer. Think of the Patriots pre Randy Moss... yeah, that's right, couple of super bowls with Patten and Brown, are you kidding me? This team looks confident, if anything, I'm concerned about Turner.

All this offseason stuff where people are trying to generate any type of headline by criticizing the easy target (guy involved in the biggest offseason deal) is lame. When games start, this guy is going to kick @$s.

Devin is right. Let's wait until the games are played before we start listening to former coaches giving their opinion on what could be the biggest turning point in Chicago Bears history.
Ditka will always be a larger than life hero for me, but Angelo brought in a bad boy passer, at the very least attempting to reverse our fortunes at that position for years to come, making him a modern day savior to me, personally.
As for Dungy, fzuck Yzoo.

Hester needs to stop reading the papers and focus on learning how to run a route properly. The local media hasn't left a single smudge on Cutler, its been Denver media and those in the national press. The local media won't say a bad thing about him until his first pass ends up in the wrong hands..

Nice remarks from Hester and he is right a lot of people have been talking about a guy they don't know. Dungy should stick his head in the sand, talking about how mature Mike Vick is and then bashing Cutler for no reason. The only reason he said it was to create some buzz about his new job. What ever happened to Mr. I am going to go help people and be a spiritual guid to those in need. That lasted all of a week.

If Hester just stops out running the passing play's and getting his timing down and he will be fine. Not great but good enough to be a consistant deep threat and that should give the TE's a chance to attack the middle.

How many times did Fred Mitchell have to listen to the tape of Devin to translate it into discernable quotes?

So you're saying that Devin Hester is TOO FAST to be good!!?? It's the receivers JOB to run the route and beat the DB's!! It's the O.C.'s job to create plays that fit the players talent.(You know, DEVIN'S SPEED!!) It's the QUARTERBACK'S JOB to create the timing. What kind of football genius tells Devin Hester to SLOW DOWN?

Thanks for the good vibes Nick. Now go back to patrol news about the Bears and make pathetic efforts trying to trash them. This year not a single pessimistic ignorant will take away the justified enthusiasm and optimism most of us Bears fan enjoy. Thanks Jerry, this offseason has been the best!

I agree with what Hester says about Cutler 100%

I have known Jay since he was a freshman here at Vandy.

He is really a cool guy and that is from another person who knows Cut.

Godspeed Cutler and the Bears!

Cutler shouldn't be making jokes in the huddle, as Hester suggests... if that's the case, he'll get creamed.....

Jay also will use vulgar language when you drop the ball. For just meeting someone its amazing he has so much to say.....Jay is a great player. I had a great time watching him and will miss the kid. However its one thing to talk about something you know. And another when its something your ignorant about. Yes Jay will make hester better. But it wasn't Orton holding him back. You guys want Marshall. Lol!!!!!!!!!! Can't have him. No j/k really no team is so stupid as to trade 2 top players from one team and the same expirience with the offense they had to one team. Makes no sense. At all. The idea is to be competitive. Hello? Why would we do that?

This is another "Ocho-Cinco" moment. Marshall will be a Bronco. One last thing to hester funny how the Media and Bears still feel Chi needs a top reciever. That's not what they did to K.Johnson in Det. Because he has talent. Size. And after the catch talent. Like Owens, Marshall.

As for the Bears good luck this season. We like Orton. We will develope him. I seen his college play on youtube. Not bad. But the best part is Knowshon. Can't wait for that.

Devin the criticism started in Denver with people who do know him. Ask the Bronco players they are happy he is gone. No way Chicago is getting Marshall though. Denver has their #1 pick and will not make Chicago better plus the Bears have nothing to offer

Daily Horoscope for December 6

Taurus

If you gave up over what happened yesterday, you stand a better chance of sorting things out today. Talking to the person who failed to go for the teamwork may help to get a grip on the situation, especially if you manage to avoid recriminations or accusations. Instead, do your best to be as understanding and compassionate as possible. Or just let it go.
