Maybe police work is not for him. Nothing wrong with that. This man said he was sorry and that says a lot. I truly believe he is sorry and he should be forgiven.

Wonder if this had happened to one of us ordinary people types would this cop have been reprimanded and forced to resign?

Yeah, being a law enforcement official is not for everyone.

Too many people have control issues.

I think he was wise to resign, this would have haunted his career forever.

....and that's NOT funny.

I hope he gets a job with the Border Patrol! I think he could help contain the feral Mexican.

Forgiveness should not be something you give to follow the crowd. WHy does this cop need forgiveness from you or anyone other than the people he affected anyways? Jeez.

The disgusting, political abandonment of this officer by his chief will result in drug runners escaping from the police by simply putting on their flashers and going into the closest hospital.

Moats lied on television at least twice concerning the incident and this should have spoken a lot louder.

Sadly I think the officer's resignation has EVERYTHING to do with the detained person being a celebrity.

The bigger story is how Moats behaved with class, and did not use his position OR try to play the race card, and HE DID NOT WHINE OR COMPLAIN.
Instead of thugs and gangsters (rappers or not), the black community should regard Moats as an icon and role model.

A sad story, and too bad it had to end in this manner. Good law enforcement officers are needed, and with counseling and additional training, maybe he could of kept his job and provide a good service to the community.

Daily Horoscope for November 9

Scorpio

The Moon passes through Leo and your tenth house of career and status today, making the pace rather hectic. The day will pass by quickly and you should be able to accomplish much, just be sure to take time out for centring and calming yourself. If you feel too much pressure to perform, step back and try and see things in perspective.
