I have followed the Vick fiasco for over 2 yrs. I check Best Friends Sanctuary, every day to find out how the 22 former Vick dogs are coming along in their rehabilitation. 2 have been adopted. Others are coming along just fine, no thanks to Vick. No amount of prison time will ever make Vick a decent human being.I have written to to Mr. Goodell, numerous times, protesting Vicks reinstatement. I have written to the sponsors of the Eagles, as I will no longer buy any of their products, as long as Vick is an Eagle, and they are their sponsors. Budweiser is going to re-evalute their sponsorship, in the 2010 season. Nike, Best Buy, and Pepsi are going to continue to sponsor the Eagles and Vick. I will not purchase any products from anyone who sponsors Vick. I suggest anyone interested, to write letters of protest to the Eagles sponsors and their corporate sponsors.

Just wondering out of all the numerous times that you have written Goodell how many of those letters did he or one of his staff members respond to, just curious.

What is worse?-- abusing innocent dogs for pleasure or supporting those who do so? The NFL is enabling "role model", Michael Vick, to emerge from his own pit of despair and thrive in a reality awed society. Why should he benefit from the maltreatment of poor helpless animals. I agree, shame on the NFL for even entertaining the idea, let alone go through with it.

Sure you did, not automated huh, so I am to assume that they took time out of there busy days to respond to you okay, I'll buy that. I guess your letter carried lot of weight huh? That is probably why Vick was reinstated and signed with a team. A whole lot of things in life "sux",you know like being detrimental to people lives. How ironic is this, as I am typing this I am also watching the news, they are reporting another attack on a woman by two pitbulls, the owner of these dogs, say the dogs have always been freindly with people including children, but yet they are able to get out of their yard and attack and maul a woman (almost ripping off her arm). Maybe you can write a letter to Goodell and Pacell and tell them that too.

I met the owner of Best Friends and heard him speak. He got so chocked up talking about the animals they rescued from dog fighting and puppy mills that he cried. we all cried.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Scorpio

Your thoughts turn to the past today, putting you in a nostalgic mood. You're awash with sentimental tears as you dwell on days gone by or gaze at photos of people you'll never see again. However, try not to let this mood of reminiscence turn into a tendency to feel sorry for yourself and therefore to demand special treatment from others.
