I am absolutely schocked that a media type of the Baltimore Sun staff could and did produce this REPORTING article. It is a well written and very touching/moving piece of journalism. Very well done.

You guys are so right. This young lady seems as if she was adopted by Adam Terry and his family. It is great that a family can show how much they care about a disabled woman and put a big smile on her face. That alone is worth living for. This was an absolute great article especially this time of year when you share love and happiness to everyone.

This was a wonderful story and thank you for reportng. I am sports nut and I have to admit the last 6 months with the Mike Vick, NY Nicks, and of course steriods story in baseball stories I have grown tired of professional sports. This does not cancel these out but it does make it a little better.

This was a great article. Unfortunately, as seen by the number of comments, more people have a reaction to reading about idiotic or otherwise misbehaviour within the sports world. You can't blame editors for feeding the masses what they want and selling papers in the process, but you would like to see some stones from the editorial staff to print more of these stories. And just maybe they will find their readership can develop a taste for something beyond the journalism equivalent of "junk food."

This is a tremendous "feel good" story for the fans of Baltimore, who are being bombarded with stories of poor coaching, steroids, ownership mishaps and more. Thank you Adam and Merry Christmas!

FINALLY! An NFL story that warms the heart and touches the soul.

The league was getting a huge beat down this year. But Adam Terry stormed back like Hulk Hogan – giving haters a big boot to the face, followed by a thunderous leg drop.

Thanks for restoring my faith in humanity.

Thanks for the article. Being the parent of a developmentally disabled child, I can tell you that just a little kindness and attention goes so far in their lives. To see my child's eyes light up when someone says "hi" makes my heart glow. I am now officially an Adam Terry fan.

Perfect timing with this article! It is so nice to see a positive story about people taking time out of their busy lives to care for others (something some of us forget to do). Also, it's great that Adam is the team's spokesman for the Special Olympics!
The Terry's are truly wonderful people!
