Wahle Interested In Coming Back To Green Bay

Guard Mike Wahle says the prospect of returning to the Green Bay Packers appeals to him now that he's been released by the Carolina Panthers this week.

Wrong, he is no powerhouse. Do your research. He has a bad shoulder, and is not earning his salary. Why do you think he was cut, because he is an all pro?

Wahle went to the Seahawks; The Packers, who has had problems at guard the past two seasons, had some interest in Wahle, whom they cut in 2005. But just like last time, the Packers were only interested in the 30-year-old Wahle at their price, which likely would have been considerably less than what the Seahawks paid (financial terms have not yet been disclosed). While the Packers might still dip into the guard free-agent market when it commences on Feb. 29, the team still believes in the players it currently has.

I still say they need to replace College at left guard,Spitz may still cut it,but we need a big bruiser at left guard and play some smash mouth football,and im sure Ted get his eyes peeled on a few guards.I just wish it would be a proto typical 6 3 325 lbs instead of these 63 290 zone blocking guards.Get Lombardi throwback tough guys in thier and throw people around.
