Yep, those Saints scare me. Not so sure that they've had the toughest schedule though, but Pats get to host them Nov 30 ESPN 7:30.
Most probably one of the biggest games of the year. Will the Patriots be the spoilers for the Saints' perfect season?(Assumming they remain unbeaten.) Or, will the Saints come marching in and?

Hey you guys.......Colts are lucky to be 8-0! Texans attempted and missed a 42 yard FG with 1 minute remaining to let Colts win it 20-17.

Pats are hosting Saints on a Monday Nighter......yep, going national. Check the K/O times though, I saw 8:30 as well as 7:30. Hopefully they will be the 'Saints Aints' from back when they wore brown paper bags on their heads. lol No, seriously, it may very well be a battle of the Gladiators......Brady vs Brees. I would give the edge to Brady simply because of experience under pressure.

Yeah, you best believe Indianapolis has been waiting for the Pats arrival also. Could be a big statement made with a win at this one. No cake for Colts!

Well, when Pats winning streak at 18-0 was broken in the SB, they received alot of grief for it (and still do). Colts have a 17-0 record going on (regular season). Perhaps it's time for the Pats to serve up a big ol' plate of grief and pass it around. lol It would be rude not to. Just trash talkin you guys, don't get upset.

Manning and Brady both have 16 TDs and 5 inter, and they are both in their last year of their contracts. I smell money.
Pats have Green, Tate and Taylor out, with Light doubtful.
Colts have Gonzo, Hayden and Vinatieri out.
Anybody think Pats are going to give Maroney the ball some tonight? He's gotten a TD in each of the last 3 games.
Moss is playing and I can't wait for that show.
And what would we do without Welker?

Colts were missing a lot more than just the two you mentioned:

Hayden - CB
Jackson - CB/S
Sanders - S
Hagler - LB
Gonzalez - WR
Hart - RB
Vinatieri - K

That's 4 defensive starters, and the #2 wide receiver. They were ALL replaced with rookies, except for Vinatieri.

Good game, bad coaching call at the end.

It was a bad weekend, all around, for any Boston team playing in Indy. Celtics lost 113-102 to the Pacers, who have now won 4 straight. Patriots lost 35-34 to the Colts, who have now won 9 straight.

Don't know what happened to Boston College, but it's a good thing they weren't playing in Indy...

Everyone is calling Belichiks call a bad call. I don't think it is so clear cut as that. If his receiver catches the ball cleanly, the Pats win the game, and Belichiks a genius.
Patton already had two long drives for scores in two minutes or less. I think Bill showed a lot of respect for Patton. I can understand it.

Belichick is arrogant enough to go for it on his own 28 yard line.

Yeah, I know there were more, I just grabbed the MAJOR ones. Pats had some 'probables', but there again I just grabbed their MAJOR ones. Only matters is who DID play.
In hindsight, it was a bad call. If it worked, it would have been genius. I think at that point, the way the Colts were putting up points, Bill didn't trust his defense as much as he trusted his offense. IMO Would have been 70 yds for the Colts drive vs the 30 yds it became.
I think Pats (Maroney) turning the ball over in the end zone, giving the Colts the touchback instead of giving the Pats 6 points was the beginning of the end. JMO
But using up their time outs way too early like the Pats did, THAT was their bad call.
Tough come from behind loss for the Pats, but wasn't it a great battle?

Patton died of a pulmonary embolism on December 21, 1945 much like the Patriots did last night.
