View from Green Bay: Once again, Packers their own worst enemy ...

Full story: TwinCities.com

Just before the game began, most of those who were a part of the largest regular-season crowd in Lambeau Field history booed Brett Favre like the narcissistic rat they perceived him to be for willfully exacting revenge in the most traitorous way possible.

mike maccarty once again his decesions and tt are ruining the packers regardless who their left tackle on offense they have to contend with three front line pro bowlers and thats not easy for anyone. Instead of saying the better team won mccarty and rogers would not say that the vikings were better they just thought of themselves and saying they almost came back what jerks. The vikings are doing great but they got to keep up the pressure for if they let up anyone in nfl can get beat. go vikings.

If the playoffs were to start tomorrow Bob I think we would be representing the NFC (WITH A HEALTHY WINFIELD), Indy is lookin real good on the other side right now, stay healthy and look good in Dec. and we got a real good chance of gettin it done.

The fudgepackers can feel good about not quiting thats it. In both games the Vikes were clearly the better team. They made the score close thats it.
And the proof of this is the fudgepackers are gone from this site for the most part. They know this as well.

I think the Vikings just have more talent and drive at this time. When the pack plays another solid team (seem few this year....how may wins will it take Dallas to be proclaimed a dynasty against the Bucs, Chiefs, and others of that genre), I think their over all lack of performance will show....not necessarily the skill mix but the execution. I have been a Vikings fan for 40 years...somehow something tells me they are destined to win it all.

At least get to the Super Bowl anyway. Then it would be fun to watch them lose.

So typical of everything Green Bay, find all kinds of excuses the team lost but never admit they were beaten down by a better team. That's what it truly was about.

I'm still relishing this W and will do so until kickoff next weekend! Green Bay sucks and got dominated from start to finish last week. Fudge, good luck with the Bucs, maybe you guys can get another W against a garbage team. Then you can claim youre the best 5-3 team ever half way through the season! ROFL

Pre-season, all the 'EXPERTS' had the Pack a division winner. Capers, the 3-4, Karen improving. I said no and I was correct. They CONSTANTLY jump the gun and get on the Pukers bandwagon. Some sort of weird love affair with Gay Bay. Yes, above (fudge...), they'll beat another crap team in TB and start talking tough again by Sunday evening. Playoff runs, etc. G_d they're hilariously dumb.

Congrads to the Vikings Family. I really enjoyed the game. I thought that the Vikings had something to do with the defeat of the Packers. Go Vikings

It's not that 3 games is insurmountable for the Pukes - it's that they are a crap team, have very good opponents most of the rest of the way, combined with the fact that we have an easier schedule moving forward and are a much superior team. I will say this, however: The Vikes cannot take the Bears lightly. Are the Bears a quality team? No od course not, but this team has had a tendency (granted, in the past) to play down to the level of its opponent (with Favre I see that NOT happening, however). 2 games, both MUST wins, and we should win them - we're a hell of a lot better team. One other statement game - Dallas. MUST win.

Hey,Journal-Sentinel 'alpha-dudes', your "computers are down" so I have to go thru MinneapolisPioneer Press to crunch your cookies.

Boy are you guys in denial or what? Your problem is NOT yourselves. Your problem is, first of all, Brett Favre. Secondly your problem is no leadership from the top down...that means no leadership from 1265 Lombardi. But then how could there be any leadership from a bunch of..well..'followers'? Guess what? You are now tied for 3rd ( not second). There ain't no second..it's just 2 of you tied for third, so quit your cheating ways, again. You guys couldn't come in second if you were the only ones in the race! See what I'm sayin'? I'll leave the light on for ya'!

One more thing, Michael Hunt, would-be wag from the Journal-Sentinel (Milwaukee), I have both Viking-Packer games from this year AND the 2007 when Favre was still showing McCarthy & Thompson how to win,(as a Packer)and I play them back to back. In fact my 'bye week Sunday was a Viking-Packer replay double header and guess whose duble-head rolled? You guys in "IdleTown" don't have any "worst enemies". There isn't anyone near enough to your mediocrity to want to be your worst anything. GB is so bad you can't even rise to the level of being your own"worst enemy". How ya' fixed for the 'train leavin' town?" Better book passage before the border closes and you have to use a disguise to get out of town.

Yes Green Bay, you are awake and not dreaming.
Your team just lost to an 0-7 team with a rookie QB who just turned the drinking age and made his first NL start. Your nightmare continues. I don't feel sorry for you Cheesed*cks as you made fun of us plenty in the past, now you are reaping the whirlwind because of your big f**king mouths and inability to shut up. By the way, the MN Gophers could run through your O-line and the 3-4 scheme you run just gave up 3 TD passes to a QB barely out of high school. Eat s*it.
and then what

I'm really curious about your fantasy of packing fudge, are you a connoisseur of poop? I assume you are a vikqueens fan since you have a crappy outlook on things, I mean really how many years have the queens have had a sh1ty team? Oh that answer is easy, every year!!!!!
OK, since yer kinda slow, How many championship trophies do the vikqueens have????? Now get on a bus to title town in Green Bay to see what they really look like.

Oh, yeah...they are blowin' fuses all over in Packerland but they are too dumb to realize the fuses are blowin''cause they gots their fingers IN THE SOCKET AND DON'T KNOW ENOUGH TO PULL THEM OUT and put them on the train headin' outta town.."IdleTown", that is!

I don't hear the boo-birds chirpin' at the airport for Porky, "No-Fly" Ted, and "Bagman"Mouse Murphy.
There ain't no joy in Mudville...and why should there be? The funsuckers have had there way installing a vacuum for 5 years now. Hey, they put thier tail 'twixt their legs and dragged Green, and Tauscher back. All they need is to go find Bubba, Tony (Fisher), Mike Flanagan, Mike Wahl, Craig Nall, Mike Sherman, and the guys could maybe pull a 12 & 4 out of it...after the train is gone. Take a deep breath, traitors, Favre is still king, & you got 36 more years..like before Brett rode in with Ron Wolff... of "IdleTown" and three more bail-outs from the stockholders. Ain't it grand to have folks around who remember things???
