Full story: Columbus Dispatch

For six games, the Cincinnati Bengals were curiously titillating, overly exciting and vexingly unpredictable.

The Bengals beat the Bears in Cincinnati, and they also won 45-10, other than that good article. Lets hope they get those substitution errors taken care of before next week. Here is to 5-0 in the division and 7-2

One of the bid differences is the revamped O-line and Linebackers. This is a different team, player wise. Kudos for making the changes. Next weeks games against the Steelers will be a great measuring stick of what lays ahead. Go Bengals!

No kidding...what the heck? Any casual fan begins reading this column and automatically sees this guy has the Bears game score as 35-10 and it was 45-10. And he has it in Chicago and it was in Cincinnati. How does something like this get overlooked and get printed in the paper?

I've been a Bengals fan for 20 years, through winning and losing. I was afraid to read too much into their early winning start, but as this article says, the last 2 games have me thinking it's for real. That, coupled with OSU's nice win on the road at PennState this weekend, made this a nice football weekend!

This Bengals team reminds of the 1981 Bengal team that went to the Super Bowl. That team also won some close games early in the season and then they rolled to the AFC Championship.

Very shoddy reporting!

"Two weeks ago, the Bengals went into Soldier Field and shellacked the Chicago Bears, 35-10." Actually the Bears came to Paul Brown stadium and the bengals won 45 to 10! Oh and by the way the bengals had only 11 losses last season and one tie.

OK, I can see the first two responses, and maybe the third, but after that I think we can stop pointing out that the score and location of the Bears game are wrong.

However, I have to admit upon first reading the article and immediately noting those errors, it lead me to believe that Mr. Arace is just a casual observer and hasn't been following the Bengals' story all season. That may not be the case, and even if it is as a long-suffering Bengals fan I'm glad to get positive ink from any source, but those early misstatements definitely lessened the impact of what he had to say afterwards, similar to a posting with a bunch of spelling/grammar errors.

The Bengals didn't march into Soldier Field and upset the Bears 35-10. They Bengals won that game at home 45-10.

Nice piece.. but it would be nice to know that the game against Chicago was played at home... your piece would seem more real if you actually had been paying attention to this team you write about other than just catching on that they are winning and being a "band wagon" journalist.
But ... whodey... indeed...
