After the 2012 season is over either you or I will be right about Ponder. Since I pick the last two Heisman before half the college season was over and the best rookie of all time I have to stick with my opinion. |

Without Peterson it's going to be hard for Ponder to improve. Gerhart is not a starting NFL back so the play fake won't hold the defensive lineman. |
Gerhart was the runner up to the Heisman in case you forgot. You act like the guy wasnt anyone. Gerhart is a starter. for anyone that doesnt a AD on there team. The Guy you said the Viking should have picked & the lions took him JAHVID BEST drafted 2010 What happen to him Him & the great career you said he was going to have. I think if I was you I would listen to some other opinions. It couldnt hurt. |

Best started 15 games, scoring his first career NFL rushing touchdowns in the regular season opener on September 12 against the Chicago Bears. His best game of the season came the following week in a 35-32 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, where he had 78 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns, and 154 receiving yards, including a 75 yard touchdown reception. He had more limited production for the rest of the season mainly due to a turf toe injury, with a career-low 2 rushing yards in Week 11 against the Dallas Cowboys, and did not score any further rushing touchdowns, although he had a 53-yard receiving touchdown against the Miami Dolphins in Week 16 during the Lions' four game winning streak.
[edit] 2011 season On Monday Night Football on October 10 against the Chicago Bears, Best had his first 100-yard game, rushing for 163 yards and a career long 88-yard touchdown run. On November 25, Best was placed on IR after dealing with post concussion symptoms.[32] |

How good is running back Best if he had only 2 rushing yards Playing a Cowboy defense in 2010 that was 21 fst agants the run and did not score any further rushing touchdowns that year He Sucks is the only word that fits. His speed didnt help him. His size being 5ft10in & only 199 lbs is why I said he would be a average running back & not anything special He Cant take a hit & it was said the Vikings made a big mistake not taking Best.. Turns out they didnt.

I've been wrong plenty of times Gonzo has a book on times I was wrong. Times I have been right are epic. Everybody in the forum wanted Brady Quinn, My pick was Peterson. It's been a adversary battle about who can be most right since. Thing is I'm just have fun. I never name call I defend my position with evidence. |

Wanted Best as a 3rd down back which was what we needed not a backup rb. In any case if we wanted a bigger Peterson backup I had Ben Tate and legarrette blount rated over Gerhart. |
lol "Gonzo" Well to be honest calling someone Gonzo it is a forum of name calling lol But true I am here for fun also But I am also into stats.. I did want Quinn But look at who we had at th time., Desperate times lol WE all made bad calls. |
|
I wanted Ben Roethsberger in 2003 Everyone said defense wins Games & the Vikings Pick was Kevin Williams Good player yes But I still havnt seen him take a game over & win it. Culpepper was the Vikings QB at the time. I still wish the Vikings did pick Big Ben to this day. I like Williams But Ben would have been the best pick. |
|
|
lol been so long ago i think i have my years mixed up without looking it up but ben was drafted 2004 & the Vikings did a defensives player Allen But I still would have taken Ben lol im not sure about the year I dont feel like checking it now But I think this is right lol

A sophmore slump would be devastating for Ponder and the Vikings. He showed some positives, but I think everyone can agree that he needs to make better decisions when it matters.
He has to show me a little two minute Tommy at some point......soon. Smart kid, but I'll bet Einstein couldn't play the position worth a lick either. |
