It is becoming clearer with each passing day that something is terribly, terribly wrong in California.

Judged: 22 22 22 7.3 Million Americans Are Vegetarians Additional 22.8 Million Follow a Vegetarian-Inclined Diet These numbers do not include those who are below the age of 18 It's a growing movement, and people like you are scared to death, which is why we see articles full of propaganda, like the above, popping up here and there. http://www.vegetariantimes.com/features/archi... |

Judged: 22 22 22 And the population of the US alone is 307.07M. Making vegans a miniscule number. And your statistics do not define what a "largely vegetarian diet" means. If vegetarian, these folks are still consuming meat, egg, fish, or dairy. No one is scared to death. If you *choose* to eat a specific diet, no one has a problem with that. Propoganda this article is not. It is dealing specifically with 1) ILLEGAL fundraising; 2) strange and rather bizarre use of the English language to advance an animal rights agenda; 3) the political nature of PETA and HSUS--this needs to be communicated to the public in general. Too many people are naive and donate to these faux "non-profits" hoping to "help" animals, when in fact, these organizations have agendas far beyond what they portray and what their benefactors believe them to support. I would consider the crap that PETA does such as twist the tragedy of an innocent child microwaved to death by her drug-riddled mother for "advancing their cause" PROPOGANDA. |

Judged: 20 20 20 No, psycho THIS needs more exposure: http://www.wvec.com/news/local/Former-NC-test... RALEIGH, N.C.(AP)-- Four former workers at a now closed North Carolina testing lab have been indicted on felony animal cruelty charges. The charges follow Norfolk-based PETA's undercover investigation at Professional Laboratory and Research Services, Inc. in Corapeake that captured video images of animals being hit, kicked and thrown. Gates County District Attorney Frank Parrish says Christine Clement and Tracy Small were indicted on two counts each of cruelty to animals. In addition, Jessica Detty and Mary Ramsey were each indicted on five counts of the same charge. Parrish says the grand jury handed down the indictments Tuesday. The charges follow the September 2010 release of a videotape provided by an undercover worker for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. "The animals who were kicked, dragged, and neglected at PLRS deserve justice," says PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk. "These charges are a reminder that nobody—not even laboratory employees—is above the law." Newkirk said this is the first time in U.S. history that workers have faced felony cruelty charges for their mistreatment of animals in a laboratory and only the second ever criminal prosecution of cruelty to animals used in laboratories. In a news release Wednesday evening, PETA said the USDA's initial inspection report confirmed serious health issues and substandard housing conditions at the company, which had tested flea and tick preventatives and other products for Sergeant's, Bayer, Eli Lilly, Merck, Schering-Plough, Pfizer, and Merial, the makers of Frontline. The USDA's full investigation of PETA's complaint is ongoing and likely to take several more months. The company surrendered nearly 200 dogs and more than 50 cats, many of which were brought to the Norfolk and Va. Beach SPCAs for care and adoption. --------- We know who the TERRORISTS are, and these terrorist animal torturing pieces of shit FELONS are going to continue to be caught, charged and PUNISHED for their despicable crimes against animals. Yes psycho, animals certainly do have RIGHTS and they will continue to have more rights as ANIMAL RIGHTS activists continue fighting against the oppression, torture, abuse, suffering and deaths of all sentient beings by ignorant, greedy, cruel, apathetic humans. Enjoy your next flailing/FAILING fit. |

Judged: 23 23 23 The US government already had been all over PETA previously, scouring its tax returns for its legal support for terrorists. I posted the tax returns elsewhere in regards to Daniel San Diego. HSUS and PETA are politically inclined organizations who spew much ill-advised propoganda. HSUS is pretty vile when it comes to whoring itself for funds: http://time4dogs.blogspot.com/2011/05/hypocri... |

Judged: 23 23 23 I think you have a reading comprehension problem. This case is still under investigation. Indictments only have been made. No full investigation has been completed. No one is guilty yet. There is quite a suspicious eye on this situation because of PETA's ALLEGATIONS. This still needs to go under the scrutiny of a trial to find these people guilty. I suggest you don't count your chickens until after the eggs are hatched. |
