Slow Food Truck's Owen Bass is surprised to find local opposition to his truck. a Paul Ripa, owner of Paul's Sub Shop in North Miami Beach, was Googling North Miami Beach election results when he found something interesting -- a notice on the City's website announcing Slow Food Truck would be serving lunches in front of City Hall.

What is the sense of leasing property, getting licenses and paying property tax when you can just get a food truck?

You can also park it in areas which zoning laws prohibit a regular eatery so it is a win win .

Regular establishments continue to lose.
