Ask the critic: Where to go for gyros, kebabs?

Q I've always wanted to try Club Tara in Stillwater. It sounds really cool. The owner is Greek, and my husband and I love gyros.

Two places you can't miss for fabulous Mediter'n food:
Black Sea (Turkish) on Snelling & Minnehaha South of the Fairgrounds - Ali & Sema will take great care of you - delightful, made to order, and delicious!
Zakia Deli on the border of Nord'east by the Flower Guys - authentic, delicious - can't miss the Mjadra!

I don't think the person asking about kebabs was talking about meat on a stick. I think they were asking about doner kebab, a gyros-like sandwich that's a popular street food in Europe. I wish I knew where to get one myself!

Oops, I take that back...maybe try the Black Sea in St. Paul. I've never had their sandwiches but their other food is good.
