I make it work and my son eats healthy stuff for the most of the week. Im sick of hearing sob stories. Cook for your kid! stop feeding him crap because your on the pity pot! Bravo! Unfortunately, there aren't enough parents like you in this country that see the benefit of hard work and sacrifice. Most of us have become lazy, fat, entitled Americans that rely on the government to raise our children for us. This study is a great example of that. When we don't get our entitlement we look for pity. I, and other, applaud you for taking responsibility for your children's health.

Fast food is not only unhealthy but, for the most part,...it all tastes the same. Applebee's, TGI Friday's, Outback and even Friendly's all have the distinct micowavable flavors. Since I stopped eating fast food about 7 months ago I have lost 20 pounds. Home cooked meals are the best and usually bring the family to the table!

Well, here we go again. Blame fast food for the lazyness of all to many parents that never have time to cook. But they have plenty of time for Sports, and cheerleading and tons more run around activitys for the kids. Then you have the poor where its cheaper to buy double cheese burgers than eat a good healthy meal. Lets not just feel bad for the kids. What about all the supersized teachers that my kid needs to see as an example of a successful person? Want your kids to eat better? Pretend your a grown adult parent and control what they eat. Drop a few nights sports to have family dinners. And try loosing some tubby yourself, I been at a many of After school games and some parents are a tragidy!

I know I get a little heated but things like this just piss me off! I think if I can do it at 16 years old, no help from the state like welfare! I went out got a job supported my son and cook him actual food and not crap, if I can do it anyone can!

Thats why there are so many chubby kids now-a-days. But their bad eating habits are usually consistent with their parents ones. what a great example....

More cities to ban trans-fats. More schools to ban soda. More-More-More. More regulations, more government, more democrats. Freedom of choice is all right as long as it's the government thats making the choices for you. Trust Me,,,,I Do NOT want the Government telling me what to eat or drink. Look at what they"re doing to the country...I"m smarter than they. Maybe i"ll run for President. lol

having been in the business for many years i must say that in general the nutritional value and eating preferences of the typical restaurant patron are appalling. i always pushed for cleaner food, people make their own choices. owners want profits and fat rednecks want more butter, ranch dressing by the pint and 4 refills on their diet coke. we need more education/options b/c health insurance is contingent on our nations health. also get outside and dig it!
