I agree the parade was a little disapointing, where was the guy with the hot air ballon that burns our faces when he drives by. I love that. I think next parade there should be more people participating. Like some custom bikes and some more custom cars. How bout some more animals, like k9 units, or farm animals. How bout some army, navy, and marines walking the parade.

I guess those who think the giant enchilada tastes good have never had a good one before. I refuse to go down to the cholo fight club, but back in the past when I did go, it was terrible. Not worth eating, only good for the record. And green enchiladas are not nearly as good. Red rules! Especially when made properly with meat and fried egg on top...

Sounds good already!!!

Unless they have telepathy.

The Whole getss worse every year. I've seen High school home coming parades better then the enchilada parade here. People are too lazy to get involved and make it better. If I had something to put in it I would have. There are plenty of animals in this town. I really would have liked to see MINE THAT BIRD, even if he was trailered! The food Robertos served from their tent was awful!

My question is, how do we slide an enormous mass of fried eggs over onto the top without breaking the yolks or dumping all the melted butter and bacon grease from frying the eggs? We do want it to be as healthy as we can, right?

And besides, if you went you would have noticed the LCPD there and very friendly at that, thank you. We had a booth and saw a different police officer every few minutes walking by. Other than the food being way over priced, it was pretty darn good. So yes to all you that stayed home, good. Stay home next year too.

Were there any Food Inspectors onsite to make sure proper food handling and sanitation guidelines were followed? Didn't Robert's get busted with a unsatisfactory dept of health rating recently?

I challenge another restaurant to make a bigger, better and safer one next year.

Was the large enchilada served by rude, surly employees with multiple tats, assorted piercings, and unruly hair? Too bad if it wasn't - you all missed the Roberto's experience.

You constant complainers, stay home next year! It is not a requirement that all residents attend. It is a fiesta, meant to be fun for all. What you get from it is what you choose. I could care less about how Roberto's record-setting enchilada tastes, it was the experience. When I want his food, I go through the drive-thru on any given day. The food from some of the other local restaurants was available too, which I had and was good. I think Roberto and his crew that helped did a great job - no accidents, no injuries, it all turned out great - considering how hot it was outside and these guys were standing over a HUGE fry pan. THANK YOU FOR DOING THAT FOR THE CROWD - GOOD JOB! Hopefully next year we'll have a new committee made up of locals that understand the culture and actually put forth some effort - at least with the parade.

Plus, Roberto does donate a crapload of stuff for local schools. I know it's a tax writeoff, but it still helps out school kids.
