Buy organic from Whole Foods or WIld Oats (Whole Foods bought them). Publix Greenwise also has some organics. It is better than eating chemicals and pesticides. If you want to commit suicide by food just go to Save a Lot or the 99 cent stores. And don't buy anything from those third world banana republics that use chemicals that have been banned in the USA in their fields. This also goes for Chinese produce. They will put anything in their fields to make stuff grow. They are not eating it. You are.

Publix Greenwise will be opening up in Boca sometime end-May. Let's all support Publix organics. Great company, great products. Can't wait for the opening day. Best of Luck, Publix Greenwise. Give Whole Foods a run for their money.

Actually we pick up a lot of our foreign produce from Mexico and their standards are every bit as strict as ours. If it says "Quality Assurance International", it doesn't matter where it came from anyway because it has to meet standards to bear that label.

And buy organic milk, it lasts way longer than the Publix, MacArthur dairy or Velda Farms varieties. They must load that milk up with so many hormones, etc. that give the milk a shelf life of a week if you're lucky. A half-gallon of organic can last a month, opened, in the frige so unless you have a houseful of children to feed the organic is cheaper in the long run and last wasteful.

I hate crowds and often have deliciousorganics.com deliver groceries to my home.
The delivery people are very nice and I find the produce is MUCH better than Whole Foods...definitely less people touching it.

I had them ship a package to my mom in GA for mother's day, it was great.

Buying organic food may be more expensive, it's true but safer. It's like buying Mercedes Benz, Volvo, BMW instead of Toyota, Kia, Nissan...quality is more expensive all the time. Those who can afford it are happy. Those who can't afford it, are always resented and show their resentments with negative destructive comments. That's human nature, here, there and everywhere!

There are many store where you buy all kind of health food, organics, gluten free, low/no sugar, low salt and they carry supplements, vitamins and keep adding to their products. Always try to eat balanced diet.

Sometimes organic food is very expensive but I think, like others have mentioned,it's a good investment if you notice the difference.
