The press never reports the schools being built etc...It's no wonder our populations are turning against the Afghan mission, they never see the good points etc..

The Afghan mission is very tough and has a lot of probs but that is only what the press focuses on and nothing else.

Liberal media and liberals never make any sense. US soldiers, our soldiers caught men who were in terror training camps and sent them to Gitmo. Everyone after 9/11 said.."get these f*ckers" etc..now the same folks want them released!

Canada had 45,000+ killed in WW2. We never gave up or complained. Now we have 131 killed in AStan and half the country is in a fuss about it. Then again, our society was much different in WW2, we were pretty much the same kind fighting for a cause WE all believed in. Today it's people who like living here and wave their own flag but don't couldn't give a damn about our guys fighting under their flag.

I couldn't agree more...

The media does one thing: sell time.

Blood, Gore, death and destruction and controversy sell...big time..

Has is typical with some American's they don't have the patience or the willingness or fortitude to wholey committ to anything long term.

Bluntly said; if your gonna committ troops to a combat situation then you committ fully, you don't half azz, you don't hamstring our troop's with over-extending ROE's, pulitzer crazed embedded reporter's, or let clueless, timid, reelection worried politician's make strategy.
