Well, don't get me wrong... I want Texarkana to grow into a big, successful city. I really do! But the city and its people are their own worst enemy.
But there's no denying the fact that Texarkana, TX/AR would be at LEAST as big as Kansas City, KS/MO by now (a city with a geography similar to Texarkana's), if generations of city councils hadn't made such stupid decisions. Oh, another loss for Texarkana in the past I forgot to mention - there was a proposal on the table several years ago to make the Four States Fair a permanant Texarkana icon, like Six Flags in D/FW. Why *that* offer got turned down, I have no idea either... |

1 What Texarkana does have is several highways. 67, I-30, 59, 82, and 71. You can leave town on any one of these. GW |

Brilliant!!!! |

Got that right! Leaving is all this joint is good for. |

If it took an act of Congress to get something as simple as a Hooters, does this mean that there aren't any strip clubs in Texarkana? No wonder all the young guys there are miserable...
|
||||
Yes, the Texarkana Hooter's is not known for anything but the wings. |

I bet many guys go there to get a whiff of some Texarkana hoochie booty.

Here we go another sick moron. Can anyone tell us what a wiff of (some Texarkana hoochie booty.) I thing the whiff's this poster is gitting is from off of seventh st. Every time a prostitute walks by they think that is what Texarkana (some Texarkana hoochie booty.) smells like. Their experience at hooters could not be too good. Also it would be getting not gitting. |
|||
Yea, it smells like you and the women you pay to sleep with! |

People in Texarkaan can afford prostitutes? Those must be some UGLY prostitutes there...

I forgot to add that just because a girl works at Hooters does not mean she doesn't have morals. I am a strong Christian girl, brought up by awesome parents, and I have morals. I thinks its crazy how people are saying they need to go talk about this in their churches for "anti-indecency". I was working one night and there was a huge group that walked in and they were all members from my church family that actually came in to eat. What is so wrong with Hooters? I go to work and do what needs to be done. I take peoples orders and serve them their beer, fried pickles, wings, desserts, etc. Of course some girls may be flirty but that is just their personality. They mean nothing by it and if you are offended I'm sure they will apologize. I usually dont make it a point to sit down with my customers and strike up conversations with them, although some people do get pretty upset if you dont pay them alot of attention. I am attending college right now and Hooters is helping me out so much with any financial situations I have. It gets me paying my gas, rent for my apartment, all my apartment bills, phone bills, car payments, groceries, and plenty of other stuff. So if working at Hooters is so wrong, then I don't want to be right. i <3 hooters :)

seems now the "Jee-suz revised" crowd now asserts their "Jee-suz" was a boob man as well as a NASCAR fan... of course we all know he turned water into Coors at weddings... and was co-founder of the NRA.... but being on the board of Hooter's Inc seems to be a stretch... mark on Hooter's
