Paiyouji Tea - Results/comments gratefully accepted

hi i'v just recently started drinking paiyouji i'm just a bit worried is this cuz my paket is all in achinese or something so i can not understand the product fully. is this tea supposed to be a white powder and are you spossedto drink it hot or cool also how soon can you tell if you have lost any weight. my only side effect is that my mouth is dry other then that i am fine and also my appitite is fine. would like to hear from someone just to reassure me.

hi yazz, as far as i know the chinese writing one is not the real thing, stop taking that, as it apparently works but has very bad side effects in the long run, and can do damage to your insides, but paiyouji plus is the one which is better to use, you will see the difference when you are taking this also.

Food Standards Agency. Essentially there is little information about the safety of
most herbal products, including teas and therefore a precautionary approach is
recommended. There is no prior approval system for herbal teas in the UK. It is the
responsibility of the supplier or distributor to ensure that their products comply
with UK food law, including the general provisions of the Food Safety Act 1990,
which make it an offence to offer for sale a food product which is injurious to
health. So, to answer your concern, just because this tea is on sale in the UK does
not necessarily mean that it is safe to consume - the responsibility for ensuring
that the product is safe lies with the supplier/distributor.

We have not received any reports of adverse effects from consuming Paiyouji tea. If
you have experienced adverse effects then you should stop consuming the tea and
speak to your GP if you are concerned. If you let us know what adverse effects you
have experienced then we can record them and monitor this product for any other
reports of adverse effects. We've been unable to definitively determine the
ingredients of this product, however, comparable weight loss supplements are known
to contain chitosan. It is claimed that chitosan is not absorbed into the
bloodstream but expands in the stomach and attracts fat molecules thus preventing
their absorption. This also means that certain nutrients such as fat-soluble
vitamins may not be adequately absorbed and thus products containing chitosan should
not be consumed by pregnant or breast feeding women. In short-term animal studies,
it has been reported that chitosan has the ability to bind fat in the intestines so
that it is not absorbed. However, to date, little research has been published on
chitosan and evidence from human studies suggests that it is an ineffective dietary
supplement for weight loss. Overall, there is limited safety and efficacy data
supporting dietary supplements that promote 'weight loss'.

I'm sorry that I cannot be more specific than this, but for many food supplements
there is little information on their safety. As such, it is therefore prudent to use
such products with caution and in moderation.

I just started using this product and today is my 3rd day. I dont feel hungry, i drink lot of water. I bought it from a chinese herbal shop in Abu Dhabi. Since they are selling it openly, i think it should be the original one. I have a question, my problem is flabby tummy.... :(...how can i get rid of it....i hope i will be losing some weight coz of the reduction in fud intake, but then the loose skin and stretch marks..i saw a product mentioned above for stretch marks... any advices.. thx

My box of Paiyouji Plus states on it that it does contain Chitosan. Did you give them a list of ingredients from the packet or did you just send the powder to see what they came up with?:)

Why has Paiyouji.com stopped operating? Why has mybeautypack.com taken off their link to Paiyouji products and why does their contact phone number for customer services put you through to Paiyouji.com which doesn't exist anymore???? Why do the boxes on paiyoujishop.com look so very different from the original certified paiyouji packaging?

Can I ask if anyone is still selling or buying this product, where are you getting it from?
