Here's something (using Deep's report as an example) of something that always confuses me on these reports: Deep's Trellis Restaurant – 90 Reinspection due to prior failure.*Potentially hazardous foods did not meet temperature requirements; inaccurate refrigerator thermometer; food not protected; food container stored on floor; inadequate temperature of dish machine sanitization cycle. CLOSURE WARNING ISSUED. The way this is laid out, it appears that the closure warning is current, which makes no sense with a score of 90. So is that whole description the one from the PREVIOUS report, or is it the current detail supporting the 90 score?

Shame--Shame on Red Lobster! I can see "Ya-hoo's" deli receiving a poor score but a national chain like Red Lobster "earning" an 85 from the "food doc?" Close the "joint" down. This is a disgrace!

To rephrase my question: When a place is reinspected, couldn't both the "before" and "after" details & score be more clearly stated and identified?

I'm afaid to eat out in this town. As for the Red Lobster you can smell the grease when you walk in the place. The carpets are dirty and it's over priced.

This is a disgrace! This is not the first time this particular Red Lobster has gotten a bad inspection score - wouldn't eat there if they were giving it away for free.

I think they should inspect the kitchens in Danbury Hospital. They're a food service for "captive" customers, aren't they? Their score would be a helpful comparison for the public to make judgments about restaurant cleanliness.

How can Jimmie's market score a 96? My girlfriend went there last night to buy Jiffy cornbread mix. Got it back to the house, opened it and found the mix infested with maggots. Look at the date on the box, it's from March. Now can somebody please tell me how they scored a 96?

The guy can barely speak English, and I wonder if he ever heard of expiration dates. How that place scored a 96 is beyond anyone's comprehension. Maybe the inspector should test the inventory for expired dates and not just concentrate on kitchen areas.

Hmmmm.... Where do I want to eat today? "Beth & Her Alley Deli" with a score of 100!(OUSTANDING!), or "Brito's Restaurant" with a score of 72? Somebody help me decide here.

The closure warning IS current. Although they scored a 90, one of the violations was a 4 point violation which is an automatic failure, thus the closure warning after the reinspection. Widow Brown's has been a poor performer for quite a while. It's not the same good food or management that it was years ago.

I haven't been to Widow Brown's in years because the last time I went with my family and ordered our steaks medium rare, they came back almost raw. We asked that they cook them some more and they came back the exact same way - they didn't even put them back on the grill. We talked to the manager and he couldn't care less. Needless to say we didn't pay for the steaks and left. It's a shame because, before that incident, they cooked our steaks perfectly.

Just maybe if the system wasn't so corrupt, these sewer holes would be CLOSED!!!!!This is ALL B*%@-S*&% its our health they are playing with. The BOARD of HEALTH should shut and lock the doors and the owners cant reopen until they pay a $2,000.00-$4,000.00 fine.Once they clean up there mess to stay open they get a random check-ups. second time they are closed for good!!!!The games the B.of H. plays -who can take them seriously ?!I know the owners don't, EAT AT YOU OWN RISK!!!
