I'm sorry that some of the measurements didn't appear online. Use 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/2 cup chocolate chips, though I use a little more of the chips.

Since when is couscous Israeli? Perhaps Donna can explain how it is different from the varieties of usual Arab couscous, I am curious because it is confusing. If it is the normal couscous, hey that was around way before Israel
