I'm glad the city has approved something useful for a change. To be honest, I have raised chickens in the city for years, as did my parents but now I am not a criminal for it. The thing is, it's more than just raising chickens..........it's the freedom to be self sufficient and enjoy the bounty. Now if you want to complain, I may just change your mind with some free eggs and all the chicken poop fertilizer you can handle! As long as people keep up the coop without stench and attracting rats, all will be well. Been doing it for over 50 years, no complaints. For the reps who approved it, thanks! For the two in opposition, you get a big goose egg and have lost my vote next time around.
