Licon Dairy satisfies all ages

Full story: El Paso Times

Mexican-style asadero cheese, a petting zoo and a fishing pond, oh my. Licon Dairy, 11951 Glorietta Road, is three attractions in one and can provide a quick and inexpensive outing for the family.

This is better than the Zoo and its free. Check out Cattleman's Steakhouse in Fabens while you're at it.

Check out the San Elizario Chapel, art galleries and monuments on the walking tour on Main St. and Gloreita. Great trip back in history.

I always dread when I get replies in these forums but I am glad to see there arent any haters here. SO tired and annoyed of everyone turning ANYTHING El Paso into racists B.S. Enjoy our beautiful evening everyone!

I've been here a few times and have enjoyed everything about the place. The store, the picnic area, the animals... but most of all the asadero. Go around the block to the little grocery store and get some fresh warm bread; goes great with the asadero. But be warned, you may get home with no cheese, so get some extra just for the road.

i love this place! the cheese is amazing but i think that the poor animals could be taken care of much better. they have dirty drinking water no insulation from the cold or heat and inadequate food. If you are going to have animals then take better care of them!! thats the only thing i dislike very much about LD.
