Try this new start up cupcakery - SusieQ Gourmet Cupcakes, husband and wife team baking outrageous flavors with Belgian chocolate and vanilla bean flecks in the frosting. This is what a cupcake should taste like! They catered my girl's party and these cupcakes were a hit. Their web site is not up yet but you can email them at SusieQCupcakes@gmail.com and they send you their menu of 25 varities. Their market is the Hallandale/Hollywood, Aventura areas.

The cupcakes might be fresh, but Misha's customer service leaves a stale taste in your mouth. She charged a friend of mine $100.00 for a flimsy plastic circular base that broke which cost her $5.00. After he spent a bunch of money on a cake and cupcakes for a bridal shower. Ridiculous.

I am a true cupcake aficionado. I recently discovered the best cupcakes I have ever tasted and quite frankly the most whimsical designs on a cupcake you have ever seen. The bakery is "Heavenly Cupcakes" out of Miami. I caught a segment on a local TV show where which I found these cupcakes. Must try their signature Key Lime and Guava and Cream cheese. Oh and the creator of these masterpieces is very easy on the eyes so sweet lovers beware!!!!!!

Misha's cupcakes are not worth writing an article about. They are very sweet and the icing has a gross milky after taste.
I agree. I had them for the first time today. They are extremely sweet, messy, and greasy; and I ordered the mini...I can't imagine their regular size cupcake. The customer service could improve as well.

I agree with Heather and cupcakes comments Misha's cupcake are really gross! Too sweet, to oily and to expensive.

Is there any decent cupcake place in Miami?

we need more cupcakes in south FLA. I am not a fan of LIX or Misha's cupcakes. I rather eat Publix. Misha's cupcakes taste very greasy. She should use less oil then they might be edible. Does anyone know where I can get some good cupcakes in this city? I do not mind paying a high price for good quality cupcakes, but I cannot spend money on something that looks or taste like Lix's or Misha's cupcakes
Hi Tom,

It's been a while since your post so I'm not sure if you're still looking but I found this awesome new cupcake store inside Sunset Place. LA Sweets, there the best I have tasted thus far...

Best Regards,

My girlfriend had a beautiful cupcake tower for her wedding. I tasted the chocolate chocolate chip cupcakes and they were delicious. They were from Dots Treats Cupcakes in Miami. Has anyone else tried them?

This is the funniest thing. Everyone throwing pitches to their favorite "cupcakeries". Just getting a kick out of this. OK, OK, here is my ultimate favorite...The Cupcake Bistro, they only do deliveries which has always saved me when I'm lazy to get a gift. You can taste the "GOURMET" in these. I must admit that LA Sweets is my second favorite too. Once again that's my contribution. Happy cupcake findings to all.

I think Misha's is great, but they lack customer service. I have met Misha before and she is fantastic. It is because of the lady in the front of her store that I have not returned to her since the holidays. I don't like sprinkles especially since her frosting gets really hard. I would ask if I could have the cupcakes with new frosting that doesn't have any sprinkles. In the past, they would go to the back and get me a cupcake or two without the sprinkles. The old lady she has now won't even try to see if there are any cupcakes in the back without sprinkles. Also, I am 100% positive they sell cupcakes that are one or two days old.

I think so too!!! I dont' like her cupckes because the frosting is too hard. I don't know if it because of the recipe or because they're old. Either way, I don't b8uy from her anymore. Fresh Market has verygood cupcakes in the grove so I prefer those. THey don't cost as much either!

I went around 8:30 this morning and got some c-cakes at Misha's and they had hard frosting! Those must be old. It's too bad because she makes some good c-cakes!

Funny I came through this link about cupcakes. I heard about a girl who makes cupcakes "Everything's Cake". I ordered some for my fiance and they were really good. My fiance liked them too. I ordered two dozen, vanilla with fudge frosting and vanilla cupcakes stuffed with cookie dough. Cupcakes weren't dry and the butter cream wasn't hard. They were moist. She mentions on her website that she makes the cupcakes the same day or day before. I wanna order the Oreo ones next time. Anyway, these have been my favorite so far. Check them out www.everythingscake.com

WARNING: DO not buy a Misha cake!
I bought a cake for my toddler's birthday party at Misha's because I liked the cupcakes. From one day (Saturday)to the next (Sunday morning the day of the party) the icing on the sides of the cake fell. I sent a picture of the messy cake to Misha's and was informed that it was my fault. Apparently that is what happens when the cake is heated. They gave me no explanation of how it got so "heated" in a well air conditioned home! Very disappointing experience!

Misha's cupcakes are the best in Miami. We've tried other places and they don't come close to Misha's. No they're not greasy, the ingredients are probably of the best quality. A real sweets fan can differintiate the quality over others. No this is not Publix!!!!
