Full story: KOLD-TV Tucson

While undeniably sweet, cane syrup has a toasty, slightly bitter twang, and its buttery flavor is complex without being overpowering.

Cane syrup is naturally flavored. Many of these maple syrups are artificially flavored.

An iconic product of incredible consistency for decades.
They may be satisfied and not need to, but I wonder whst would happen to sales and profits if they chose to put forth an agressive advertising campaign.

I love those giant storage cans next to the building. Down at the bottom of each can label where the volume is it says, like, 4,000 gallons or something. Pretty nice touch.:)
I told my kid there's a spigot there where all the townsfolk could come get syrup.

It ranks right alongside Tabasco. You can buy whatever kind of hot sauce you like, but none of them are as good as Tabasco. I have met a lot of people that claim another sauce is as good as Tabasco, but those with a discriminating taste, will always side with Tabasco.

I don't even know what cane syrup is, must be a southern thing. my guess is that most of what is sold as maple is actually cane syrup flavored with maple. but 100% Maple syrup is hard to beat.

When I was younger, I could never get a taste for cane syrup. It was the bitter part that threw me off. I may have to give it another try now that I'm older because people think Im crazy for not liking it lol

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Virgo

You have energy to burn today and it needs positive outlets, otherwise you'll be rather ratty and impatient. You want to work on activities that will show you in a good light, and you'll be annoyed if anyone objects to what you're doing or points out where you're going wrong. If you've been nursing a secret passion for someone, the frustration will really get to you.
