Drilling for more oil is the answer. Bernie, will you vote for that?

Also, the government receives taxes on fuel that are four times the oil companies profit.

it's getting bad, people are getting rid of their cell phones, turning off the cable & satellite TV, eliminating their DSL & dialup service, casino's & lottery's are getting creamed, beer sales are diving, tourist industry has been creamed, movie houses going out of business, Disney about bankrupt. Professional ball parks near empty because nobody has any money.

wal-mart is considering eliminating the toy section because people with children can barely feed their kids with the price of food going up, never mind buy them toys.

west coast ports are like ghost towns because volume has fallen off so much.

umemployment is approaching depression era levels.

No, and I believe if the Democrat gets elected, suddenly, everything will be as it should be, in the eyes of the gloom and doom media (at least when a Republican is in office).

We are and have been at near full employment, and not just low paying jobs, though in VT it is more that way, thanks to the anti-big business climate. Just South of here there are high paying jobs for anyone with a college degree.

it's all over the news that Bush ruined the country, just look at the stock market, oh wait it hasn't crashed, I guess the media is wrong.
Yeah, I love the Bush ruined the economy moniker. What did he DO to ruin it? The market is still higher than it EVER was for 8 years of bubba. Even with our world war and the constant drum beat that everyone is suffering, though they are not.(gotta love the liberal's "war on poverty" too. It never solved the problem. Why are they not held to account for their failure?) But that is all explained away with inane drivel. My favorite is the "clinton got rid of the deficit" game. It never happened. But alot of people believe it.

federal debt went up every year even with the theft of the social security money, so there was never a balanced budget or even close to one.

Y2K spending ment hire any idiot that could spell computer and call them an IT worker and pay them big bucks so for a few years record revenue flowed into the treasury.

Let's face it leftie libtards like Astro Mike and gfnb, you don't belong in this discussion. This place is for red-blooded Americans who don't support wild and woolly theories about changes and alternative energies and bogus alternative this and that. We don't need alternatives, we need to stick to what has always worked. We're certainly not going to let you tax and regulate us to death to promote your changes and weird theories. So get off this list and leave us alone, we'd be happy and in harmonious agreement without your troublemaking. Right Elmer Fudd, Hillbilly, Joe, Brattleboro Informer?

Lets face it the Democrazies want us to be in a recession/depression to prove their wish list true of a failed economy under a Republican watch. However the facts will be hard to argue, opps -my mistake. No they won't, just watch them plant several MSM talking heads in front of colored, doctored charts and the sky is falling all over again.
