Morning all! Boy did me and my friends eat a lot of animals yesterday. I have a question. I cooked hot dogs for the kids and chicken for the grown ups. Does a hot dog really count as an animal?

Two Russian émigrés recently arrived in the United States. Joachim and Pavel hoped to someday become American citizens. As they were walking down the street in New York City they saw a lunch cart with a sign that read: Hot Dogs $1.50.

Joachim looked at Pavel in amazement and said “They eat dogs in America?”

Pavel shrugged and said” They must, that is what the sign says”.

“Well then to be Americans we must eat dogs also”.

So the two Russians walked over to the hot dog cart and got two hot dogs.

They proceeded to the nearest bench and sat down. They unwrapped their hot dogs and Joachim said to Pavel,“Yuk, what part of the dog did you get?”

“It's all part of my charm.....”

Grandiose delusions (GD) or delusions of grandeur is principally a subtype of delusional disorder that occurs in patients suffering from a wide range of mental illnesses, including two-thirds of patients in manic state of bipolar disorder, half of those with schizophrenia and a substantial portion of those with substance abuse disorders.[1][2] GDs are characterized by fantastical beliefs that one is famous, omnipotent, wealthy, or otherwise very powerful. The delusions are generally fantastic and typically have a supernatural, science-fictional, or religious theme. There is a relative lack of research into GD, in comparison to persecutory delusions and auditory hallucinations. About 10% of healthy people experience grandiose thoughts but do not meet full criteria for a diagnosis of GD.

According to the DSM-IV-TR diagnostic criteria for delusional disorder, grandiose type symptoms include grossly exaggerated belief of:

self-worth
power[5]
knowledge
identity
or exceptional relationship to a divinity or famous person.[6]
For example, if the patient has fictitious beliefs about one’s power or authority he or she may believe himself or herself to be the ruling monarch, deserving to be treated like royalty.[7] There are substantial differences in the degree of grandiosity linked with grandiose delusions in different patients. Some patients could believe they are God, the Queen of England, a famous rock star, and so on. Others are not as expansive and think they are skilled sports-persons or great inventors.

Or great, powerful ARA's...lol. All humour aside, I hope hAC seeks the help she obviously needs, for she is much more than a troll, she is mentally ill. I think we can all attest to that.

And no need to reply, hAC. This comment may be about you, but not it is not directed to you.

Cry Baby also talks like a baby... Hmmm, interesting. Even more interesting, Cry Baby has a tantrum all day long and accuses all of the same thing, even though they are apparently not.
Another symptom of delusions of grandeur or just lack of maturity? Perhaps both? Very interesting.

Many of the people here have addressed the topic perfectly.
She can't wrap her mind around points made that are at odds with her beliefs. That has to play havoc on ones mind. Since she can't be wrong, then she must ignore the wrongs done by PETA to be able to justify it in her own mind.

Fish don't scream. Putting any animal down can be, and is done, in humane ways. Just as PETA puts cats and dogs down.

Many people here have offered information about themselves in a friendly way having adult conversations, HAC seems to anger very quickly when any sort of question is asked of her. She is not able to reply in a civil, adult manner.

It is odd that in the article it states something about the fish having pride. That is such an asinine idea. Animals have no pride. They are claiming animals are equal to humans in thought as well as life importance. The only pride I know of in animals comes in Lions.
:^)

Oh well, it must really suck to be HAC.

HAC is irritable, fanatical, and unreasonable because she is denying her true nature.
She, like all of us, is a meat eater.
Our ancestors have been eating meat for millions of years.
She craves meat, but starves herself.
She therefore resents and hates us for not starving.

Exactly. If they can't argue against killing animals humanely for food without fantasizing about animals having human personality and emotional traits, there's obviously something wrong with their argument.

How have your many posts here, to supposedly express and further your interest in ending animal suffering, caused a reduction in animal suffering? Take your time replying, I'll wait.

Based on your prior established pattern here of repeatedly attacking all non-vegan posters and then running away, I don't expect a lucid, reasoned reply from you, if any reply at all.

If you were capable of intellectual honesty, you'd admit your posts here ENCOURAGE others to be non-vegans. I'll bet you're so proud to be causing an increase in animal suffering!

The next time you brush your tooth, look in the mirror and say: "I'm HAC and I cause more animal suffering." Like other non-vegans, I'll leave this thread if and when I choose to.:)

Wait for it, wait for it! Okay, you can personally attack now and then run away! LOL

Your boredom threshold is lower than usual this today so don't be surprised if you start to feel restless. Ideally, you should alter your usual routine and do something totally different, because that will certainly keep you interested in what's going on around you. Watch out if you decide to spend money because you might part with a lot more than you intended.
