It is waaaay past time for paid sterilizations. A one time buyout, $5,000. There would be so many takers, and then the slow ride into population decline......

Dear Tommy,
Normally I find you humorous and entertaining even if I don’t agree with you, but today you crossed the line… I have a motorcycle and wear a helmet and will likely continue should the California helmet law be repealed (only about half the states have a helmet law, others have various qualifications). Being a motorcycle enthusiast does not make me dumb or unworthy of procreation.
Once, though a skeptic, distraught with stress over an out of control adopted dog, I hired a “dog whisperer”. She wanted to perform services over the phone but I insisted on “seeing” this treatment for my own eyes; I needed to see what hocus pocus she would perform to convince me to fork over money for something unseen. I was pleasantly surprised; nay, I was shocked at the difference her visit made to my menagerie of pets and my own way of thinking. Even if the treatment was me changing how I handled my pets, it worked by golly – there was again peace and order in my home.
Smoking harms everyone, not just those who smoke. There’s a law on the books that forbids smoking in vehicles with minors in fact, as minors cannot make the choice to exit the vehicle should an adult choose to smoke. I live next door to a health care facility where residents and staff alike smoke; I’m down wind from them… Yeah, I love my home smelling like an old bar because they have the right to smoke. However, as a reformed smoker, I get the addiction and know that during those years I was just as intelligent as I am now. In fact, I was encouraged to smoke as a young woman and was indeed given free cigarettes by scantily clad beautiful women at the train station I commuted to – I wanted to be “glamorous” just like them. I’m sure it Phillip-Morris had NO idea cigarettes were addictive – they were just trying to make a buck!
Prayers, or positive thoughts if you will, DO make a difference with our overall health, and CAN help us maintain health, though may not always cure a disease or ailment. But they might… So, should we not try? Having had several accidents and subsequent surgeries, I subscribe to holistic (whole; consideration of all parts) medicine. As an example, when given what might be a needed antibiotic (still on a regime treating a secondary infection post H1N1), should I ignore that the cure for one ailment might have also wiped out good organisms in my body?
This may shock you, but sometimes… Gang violence spills over to non-gang members. For instance, like the young boy in Oakland who is now paralyzed for life because a stray bullet hit him in the spine. Those squirrelly bullets!!! Perhaps we should give gang members who own guns free lessons and target practice. Better yet, you pay for that out of your pocket. I believe in the right to won guns, but with that right comes the highest of responsibility and I feel gun control laws should be HECKA tight, way more than it is now. Get this – I’m a liberal!!!
Choosing organic foods and teas is smart, not to mention tasty (though not always in my budget). If health care providers, insurance companies and the like actually covered quality treatment for all people at affordable prices, maybe more people would use more western medicine, but alas many have no options but alternative ones. And yes, many of these people are worse for the wear. I’m also in therapy; my mom abandoned us as infants and later died of an overdose, I’ve been sexually abused (as a child), I work for the County (‘nuf said), I pick abusive men (finally broke that habit thanks in part to therapy), but I’m immunized as is my child!!!
So I guess you could say I’m a new age liberal biker (chick) former smoker peace monger whom you feel is better off dead?
Tommy, you crossed the line and lost my respect. I’m surprised this missive was even printed…

dont forget the jesus freaks we can let them pray for their kids to get better instead of taking them to doctors and instead of safe doctor performed abortions we can hand out coat hangers and when people are in pain we can just let them lay there until they die from the pain. oh yea and we could encourage more blind faith in christianity and other religions and encourage the parishioners to folow their pastors in to the wilderness and drink cyanide laced koolaid. We could also start accussing people we dont like of being a witch and start burning them at the stake again and maybe start a debtors prison to where if you dont pay you dont eat . A long over due tax on all places of worship could help fund the trip's.Or maybe we could just learn to mind our own buisness and stay away from people who annoy us and let them live out there lives in peace and stop fearing things we dont understand or like

Uh....Think that one through first... all the lung cancer and emphysema patients would simply have the tax payers flip the bill for their treatment... socialized medicine. We practically have it now in Calif with MediCal.

thanks,for the voice.
Superstition of all kinds weakens our nation from logical, constructive progress. I would like to see all flavors gone, be it christantie, faith healers, or pagen pan people. Grow up and take responsibility for yourself and stop relying on mysticism to explain your failures.

I can't believe the people that get upset about TWK. He is not serious about his writings, he just likes to step on toes and you folks give him the response he wants. He has written about things close to my heart and I just laugh about it. TWK is truely not PC.

The one TWK forgot.....
The most dangerous and yet unmentioned.....
TOMMY WAYNE KRAMER
Believe in him, think he writes brilliant satire? That is the most dangerous, the most outrageous, the most annoying, the most ignorant, the most opinionated and possibly the biggest a*s in Mendocino County.
Hey, TWK.....ever find that dead thing in your dishwasher? Wife come home?

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Aries

Financial muddles are more than likely today so be careful if you're going shopping. You might be accidentally short-changed or there could be a misunderstanding about how much something costs. This isn't a good day to lend friends anything valuable in case they don't return it or they damage it in some way. Better safe than sorry.
