Yeah, bad thing that discrimination thing, no doubt.
Also bad thing that Somalis are so keen in snatching wallets and doing all other types of crimes in the center of Helsinki, and only against whites (but that's not rasicsm).

Somalis are also always taking out this rasicsm card (in some cases it's a good thing). Heard cases where teachers in schools can not ask somali student to be quiet because he/she would instantly been called rasict and complaints would go to higher level. Although these are just small percentage of somalis, but that small percentage is so loud it gives bad name to most.

As an outsider looking in, I have to admit that while I abhor unwarranted racial violence and violence period, it is a real fact that antisocial behaviour attracts this. I am a retired educator in the USA. My ex-husband is from Northern Somalia (Somaliland), the most stable region of the country. He was here for almost ten years when we met, determined to never become a resident or citizen. 1991 changed all that. Interclan rivalry in Mogadishu caused his siblings there to flee to the UK, due to their Commonwealth connection. Many Somalis went all overthe globe. We were history by this time, except for our daughter, who is Catholic, like me. Her father was not a devout Muslim again until he became middle-aged, began work in the Middle East (second time living there since late teens), remarried someone from his clan, with other young children now. Enroute, he got a "green card" illegally here. He was never abusive, yet irresponsible enough to be sued for child support. The arrogant Somali immigrant image gave way to an opportunistic, menacing element that does negatively impact the group. Because I do not want my own child to get any of this backlash, even as a young adult, the surname is identified as Arabic and Spanish since each half present in those cultures. Why should one be harassed by name association with a culture heor she has never been a part of? Sure, he is the loving, helpful father now. Still, he worked and was able to do so when he chose to walk on the wild side when he was in his 30's - no excuse, because I was not from the streets, nor did I run with him. To see the wave of Somalis leave the state of Georgia to go to Maine for welfare benefits, etc. is a magnet for anti-Somali sentiment. That is no different than the hostility that citizens of any country get for being on the dole when one is truly able to work. I am of free Black descent, always worked, with patriotic ancestors that were veterans of every war this country has fought in. Even I know that I cannot resettle in any other country, those in Africa and the Caribbean included, without being a productive, law-abiding human being seeking success. Struggle is no excuse for crime or not contributing to your own support and community.

If you don't get job ect. it's easy to say it's because of racism, that way you don't need to blame yourself. One should remember that finns don't get jobs here either, not even if they have highest possible education.
Of course if Somali don't know the language, it's really hard to get a job. But as I said, even if you are a finn with university diploma, it's hard to get work here (maybe worst situation in Europe).

As a Russian I would tell you the following - if a Russian buys appartment in Finland, or a Russian woman goes to work in Finland as a maid in hotel (I always surprised how often I hear Rusian speach from the personal in Finnish hotels where I visit often), or even if a Rusians girl shamefully comes as a prostitute to Finland - they all have a dream to be INDISTINGVISHABLE from you, Finns, and to live the same way of life you live and enjoy life in Finland as it is now - beautiful and clean!... BUT, BUT, BUT - all those Somalia muslims whom you invite, they hate your way of life, consider you moral freaks based on their Islamic understanding of everything and the only thing they dream is to introduce Islam in your country, to live THEIR way of life and actually to dump everything which is dear to your civilisation...Why do you do this for yourself is beyond my understanding...

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Sagittarius

You'll feel friendly with everyone you meet today, and you might even be lucky financially. Money should be coming in, but going out rather fast as well... Astral influences will keep you on your toes, and will probably make you flirtatious, but they could also make you moody. This makes it tricky for close relationships to run on an even keel. The truth is, perhaps you don't want too much closeness at the moment. Your partner probably knows that you're often like this, by now, anyway.
