Teacher Accused Of Having Sex With Students

You know, Like, this one week at Band Camp.....

If this is true about this teacher I think that he should get the highest penalty there is. As a teacher we need to set an example and if we have petifilers in the schools what kind of example are we setting. Children should be safe when they come to school they should not feel that they are threaten by one who is suppose to help them. At the same time we also need to hold parents accountable as well. There are parents out here who send their daughters dressed inappropiaetly to school. They by these close and know well well the kids are not to ware them. They go to these malls and watch their daughters purchase these close and want say a thing. Parents don't understand that when they are neglectful they set their children’s up for things like this to happen. Quit being your Childs friend and be a parent. Tell them no and go change their cloths. I am also aware that children change their cloths when they get to school. I say again parents need to be parents. Stay vigilant of who and what your child is around and doing. Many of these things can be stopped.

OK Quin, great point but the word is CLOTHES.

No me, I would like to know the lives these girls lead, do they screw all the football or basketball team also. I would not be surprised to learn that they do. To a lot of them, this is a game, and they never have to pay a price, always the older one, be it a male or a female. It is well past time for them to pay to play also.

Band teacher should not have lowered himself to such.He is in a leadership role and no matter how much those young ones their stuff at him.IO came up in the late 60s early 70s.I'm told today what these teens are doing at high school age.They get down and dirty at a young age.Their parents need to get the morals and manners taught on their end.Poor guy could'nt keep from helping himself to the cookies and milk.

If this person did this, then prosecute, but there is no evidence other than the girls saying it happened. Too often, students get angry with a teacher, and, knowing this is the worst accusation possible, will lie about this and get their friends to lie just to get the teacher in trouble. For no other crime would a person be arrested just on the word of unreliable people with an"ax to grind". Law enforcement seems to think it is a "feather in their cap" to arrest anyone accused because it makes for a high publicity case, and juries do not seem to understand that an accusation does not make a person guilty. Give me the proof, and I'll say, "More power to you".

Also, statistics show that anywhere from 60 to 80 percent of sexual abuse cases reported by custodial parents against non-custodial parents are false.

Also, many things we once laughted at are now labeled "sex crimes". If we keep going, just looking at someone could be cause for arrest.

I am totally for prosecuting true criminals, but, as I've said before, give me the proof, not an accusation. Don't destroy someone's life unless there is proof that they have done wrong. If they haven't, then let's prosecute the accusers for lying.

Tell ya what...I think he should get the same punishment as the Female Teachers that had sex with there students. A little slap on the wrist...then maybe people will wake up and hold both sexes to the same degree of contempt when it comes to these sexual predators.

I'll keep a better eye on my pets. I noticed Duke likes to hang around his grandaughters and took this as being what bird dogs do. Thanks for the tip.

If he is guilty, then he should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. If this is made up, then the girls ought to have to pay dearly for their lying. I know a lot of these girls have extra clothes at school. The other day, a girl spilt coke on her cloths and three girls in the class said they had clothes in their lockers that she could put on? I have many parents tell me that their children did not leave the house in the clothes that they are called about and asked to bring other clothes to their children. It goes both ways incidently. Know what your child wears and don't expect the school to be dress police.

Disguisting...It is sad that this goes on in our high schools.

This seems to be the latest "Trendy" accusation.
If it is true then he should be punished, however the same goes for the girls; if they are lying they should be punished and embarrassed just like the teacher has been.

yup...punishment should be the same whether it be the goose or the gander. I do have to wonder, though, if some of those girls involved 'set him up' though. Like maybe he had done some questionable things, and those girls decided to do their own 'sting' operation. I know...I've been watching too much Law and Order.

Bottom line, as an educator, he should never put himself in a position that is questionable. And if he IS guilty, then as an educator, the punishment should be twice as bad. grrrrr on him.

I think this is starting to be a problem. I think all these kids are doing this stuff because they don't like the teacher. I'm not saying that all the teachers are angels but this is happening way to often. It's like this, the teacher doesn't let these kids do what they want so they get together and plan this crap, and some people go to jail get their life ruined all because some snot-nose little kid can't get their way

Any social, religious, educational or other situation where children congregate without their parents presents an opportunity for a pedophile or sexual deviant. That's why so many of these things happen in church, school and similar settings. When I was a boy scout troop leader there was a man who, to me, was suspicous. Nothing in particular, just his mannerisms and way of doing things. When we went on a camping trip, I kept my eye on this guy like a hawk. Male doctors, I understand, no longer examine female patients without a nurse present. Maybe it's time to require two adults present whenever children are around. I hate to say it, but it seems to have come to this. It would protect a teacher from false accusations and a child from abuse.

WOW... it shouldnt suprise me that there are still closed minded people who choose to be ignorant and make themselves look so stupid. As a future teacher, i start in 18 months, i am scared of the possibility that this could happen. All you have to do is piss some one off and this is type of "claim" is so easy to get a teacher in trouble.... I wish that we the news covered the story when we find out if the accusation is true or false. it is scarry to think that you can have your whole life flushed down the drain just because you didnt give that kid the solo or the grade that they wanted...

They say they want more male teachers to help keep control and balance at the schools and this type of behavior happens. How in the world could he find the time to make all these advances towards these girls? Had sex multiple times in his office, ah huh and where were all the others teachers and students. Most times when there is a teacher / student sex act it is away from the school. Predators are not that dumb? My son’s school had a teacher fired for a comment he was supposed to have said with no witnesses to a girl and her mother reported it. These girls are becoming woman and when they see males looking at them, it gives them a feeling of power which some abuse. In this case I want to see some DNA evidence or stained cloths, not some manipulative teenagers who had a grudge. If they reported it why didn’t the police set up a trap? More holes here than Swiss cheese.
