Yes but this terrorist force can be overcome by the Syrian people. The vast majority of Syrians are against what is going on in Syria and the world knows very well who is behind all of this. The same 2 as always the american government and israel along with the salve countries of qatar, saudi arabia, bahrain, uae, turkey etc.The people of saudi arabia etc should remove their leaders which are nothing but puppets of israel and the american government.

@George: it's an established fact that Syria and Israel are foes. So it's only logical to assume that Israel has some part in what Syria's going through. If you care enough to watch propaganda channels against Syria you'll notice they go hand in hand with Israel's say channel 10 policy. Let alone that Israel openly supports the so-called "free" army in Syria. So yeah given the history between our countries it's not far fetched. Whatya think?

The poster "george" and a few others on here are what I suspect are some type of hasbarat jewish propagandist. They will bend, twist, deflect, lie, deny and every other tactic possible to support israel and the american govrnment and their murderous policies.

I see, but since you are in the den i don't think you should be this open to accusing Israel . I mean they will defend it even if it's the last breath they take, you're best chance is to try to convince them otherwise. and you can't do that if you accuse directly. I have found that logic always work. it won't get them to attack Israel of course but at least they will see the other side of the coin. So logic+facts-->common ground

You can never convince them no matter how logical you present something to them.Just look at some of their post on here. They have an agenda and they stick to it no matter what.

Ahem ahem...the person quoted in the story is 26 and MOST of the US military is under 30. Neghbor boy signed up after high school and came home in a box after he thought he could do his part in Iraq...defending his country from terrorists (unfound). Is there a double standard?????????

Daddy Assad was not acting as a FOE when he funneled all the water rescources out of the natural springs into the Golan Heights thru a huge pipeline and was surely smiling when he collected his 100 million dollars check from his Israeli FOE. I say FOOEY! Check your political scoreboard more carefully!!!!

The Syria dictatorship is doomed it's only a matter of time.
They all fall eventually, and the Assad regime thieves will try to flee with there stolen billions.
Leaving behind the ruins.

That is exactly my point! The Assads and their cohorts care nothing about the people or the welfare of the country; they are simply blood sucking criminals and thugs of the worst kind!!!

Yes Avenger! This Assad will not last!!!! And this is where the international community needs to play their part. NO ONE should accept Assad or his partners after his regime topples. All his foreign assest should be immediately frozen. He should be turned over to an international tribunal for crimes against humanity. He and all of his cabinet/advisors should not sleep a single night peacefully after their reign of terror against their own citizens!

Dictatorship?? You must be talking about the puppet governments of saudi arabia and qatar and bahrain.Or maybe you are talking about the american government and israel. The Syrian government is certainly not a dictatorship and most Syrians will agree.

Daily Horoscope for May 24

Capricorn

If you need to get someone organized, this is the day to do it. You'll sort things out without sounding bossy or patronizing, and you'll also get co-operation instead of resistance. It's a good day for having a serious chat with a child, perhaps because you need to explain something and want to make sure you do it properly, in a way that doesn't create confusion or fear.
