narcissist? I see the complete opposite. Brinkley is the narcissist not Cook. Brinkley is just angry and will do what she can to throw mud and drag her kids into the spotlight, like a bad parent would. She wants attention and wants Cook to look like the bad guy when in fact she is the bad one. When she digs up an unneccessary unrelated issues just to make him look bad it makes her look like the golddigging biiotch she really is. Remember she cheated in previous marriages too. Karma's a bitch Christie. She is just a model that did a few commercials. Dont get me wrong she has some money but I bet you Cook has much more, he's in a steady profession.

Christie is in her fourth marriage. Was she always the faithful wife? Why would she allow her adult daughter to be dragged into this circus? She could have opted to settle out of court, but chose to go public. It makes her appear vindictive, and not the angel some tabloids are portraying. The reporting is really biased. Maybe neither parent should get the children.

Re the "Who needs help", you left out the shrink. Of course everyone else needs counseling. How in the hell do you think that these fools stay employed? And so it is indeed a rare court psych eval that does not recommend counseling.

The disconnect and segregation of thought in the human mind otherwise never ceases to amaze me. This piece reads as if the shrink's eval had so much as a scintilla of merit when we all know that these head-shrinkers have never and still can't tell us whether Inmate X is going to be a recidivist. One of these days some in the media and in the court will figure it out: they can't predict future conduct because they don't understand present conduct.

And, almost forgot, but my favorite line from an appellate decision re "narcissism": The law, wrote Justice Mosk, is not in thrall to passing psychological theory. How much less so is it in thrall to mere name calling.

Lastly, why on earth is anyone pretending that we supposedly need a "clinical" opinion to tell us that spending $3K a month on porn demonstrates a failure of personal intimacy of staggering proportions? Isn't tghat rather obvious?

Not only Dr. Herman, but also the lawyers said it: Brinkley is a very very very angry woman, very furious even after two years since the Bianchi thing came out. In my opinion this anger, especially, and maybe her "untouchable" ego seems to be the main reason she keeps jumping from hubby to hubby. She has husband number four behind her and yet still I doubt if she really knows the reason why: where the problem actually lies. A good marriage depends not only on love but also the ability to respect and forgive one another in turbulent times and not simply putting ones ego above everything else. Talking of hubby number five. What does she need another hubby for? The occasional sex (once or twice in a year)? She doesn`t need another unfortunate hubby for that. A one night stand would do. Men are really suffering! She just wants to frustrate another poor guy with her anger and ego, only to drag him through another bitter divorce to the detriment of her kids, too. Had she learned to control her anger she would maybe have still been married to husband number one till today. Also, I doubt if a child`s biological father would have pushed his/her head in to a bucket of water as she claimed peter did: if only she (Christie) had learned to stay with a single hubby.
She happens to share some traits with my ex who is also very very very angry. She claims I do work too much to feed the family - I am a Software Developer. Is that reason enough to be angry with someone? I think it is a serious disorder to be unnecessarily angry on such an alarming scale. She keeps throwing her weight about violently, powered by the momentum of her vicious anger. We happen to be living in her country where I am a foreigner. I just hope she doesn't crash that weight of her's against the wall just like Christie crashed her's againts Peter Cook's formidable wall!

If Christy was a REAL Woman she wouldn't be on her way to Husband #5 now. Personally I don't find her to be the least bit attractive.
