Carrizozo School Board Question and Answer forum - Ruidoso News

Myself and a few others have been making a lot of undeniable FACTS known to people in this community in a desperate last ditch attempt to save our schools and keep the kids in their hometown school, but it may already be too late. Only time and future community action will determine what happens to our kids and our schools. Whatever happens, I hope the people responsible for it get the credit and not the people who have been throwing up the public alarm now. I personally have had words with a few people who think we should shut up because publically yapping about truthful ugly facts is making the school look bad. I have heard about the same thing being said at meetings and around the school. What I have yet to hear is anybody from the school saying we have lied or are mistaken in the facts that have been presented. Speaking for myself, I am not a crappy teacher, nor am I one of the school authority figures who have created the situations they themselves admit are ugly and hurtful to the schools reputation when the truthful facts are publically exposed. I am simply a child advocate who believes hiding and or ignoring all the truthful BS instead of acknowleging and fixing whats wrong, is what has hurt this school system so badly in the first place. The kids did not create the mess they must deal with nor can they fix it. Thats going to be up to this community as a whole, and as a member of this community I personally will not help continue the destruction of our schools by shutting up now. If the people responsible for what has been done and is now happening had been doing their jobs right with education being their top priority, we might still be an award winning school instead of where we are today. I believe in giving credit where credit is due, so if and when our grizzlies wind up wearing tiger orange as part of the trade off for getting the education certain people cheated them out of in the Zozo school system, I hope people understand the loss of our hometown school and all the jobs that went with it didnt happen because people found out about all the truthful ugly school happenings that were finally exposed. It will have happened because people we trusted to run our schools and educate our kids, wrongfully made all those ugly things they want us to shut up about NOW, truthful realities in the first place.

Rose, if you are a child advocate, quit worrying about who gets credit. When the state swoops in and takes the Carrizozo School over, and they need to, just be glad it finally happened. It's been a long time in the making.

why do you even care rose? you dont have any kids in school in zozo. zozo is NOT your hometown. No one even knows where you came from but your not from zozo. we are not YOUR grizzlies. You talk about people doing there jobs, well whats your job? You dont work anywhere in town or otherwise as far as anyone knows. Everyone knows about our crappy school and teachers. Its been this way for generations and will probably continue. If you dont like the way things are run in zozo please feel free to go back to wherever you came from

No wonder nothing gets accomplished in all the surrounding little towns. If a person tries to improve things YOU have to insult them!

A person does not have to have kids in school to care. If you want a better school system get involved instead of bad mouthing someone who is involved. That is why nothing ever changes in New Mexico. The people that do get educated leave.

This is the reason why the small villages in this county never solve their problems. When the attitude of "you"re not from around here so you don't get a say", overwhelms common sense, you are stuck in banjo pickerville. You need a fresh breath of out side air down there, for Christ's sake you have Angelo Vega's brother as your mayor.

Carrizozo is so behind in all factors. Makes it nice for New Yorkers to come in and take over..cause.. no one else can add or multiply anything.

Regardless of the battles of reputations that goes on here at topix, Rose goes to every meeting. Every town and school board meeting rose is there which is more than the most people. She cares and I like her updates. She does have an interest here because her daughter and son attended this school. Her experience comes her days as a concerned parent. I personally would like to see the old corrupt veterans out and new honest, energentic, and caring people voted in. People that have the best interest of our youth in heart and mind rather than their own personal agenda. Its obvious that the old way of doing things is not working so change would be nice to see.

Being as I have to split this up into two posts anyways, I want to say thanks for the support some of you have shown both in here and around town, its much appreciated. I just wish that more people were in a position to speak out against what school authorities have, and STILL ARE doing without having to worry about their own kids/grandkids being treated badly or unfairly at school because they dared to try and help stop the abuse. It SUCKS!
The only reason I am not at the meetings anymore is because while it is perfectly clear school authority figures are corrupt as hell and supporting something other than the educating the kids, I very stupidly did not realize that principal nesbitt, superintendent cobos and the not so wonderful dean of students, becca ferguson would stoop low enough to be looking UP at whaleshit in order to illegally shove the 4 day school week down the throats of this community. They broke a lot of laws which is nothing new, but I KNEW IT and could PROVE IT, and everybody involved with continuing the educational rape of zozo's kids KNEW I could prove it because I had made digital recordings of every meeting I went to with the recorder in plain sight. Before school on the same day as the "rescheduled" budget meeting and the "rescheduled" sports banquet so both would happen at or very near SAME TIME of the rugularly scheduled board meeting, I showed principal nesbitt the actual state laws that they had ALREADY broken along with another state law about recalling school board members for breaking those laws if they voted to pass the 4 school day resolution at the board meeting that night. Everything I told her was true and we both knew it. Where I made my big mistake was telling her I intended to tell and show the board the same things I did her at the public input segment and BEFORE they voted at that nights board meeting. She was sweet as pie and even told me to "Have A Nice Day" before calmly walking back into the school. It dosent take a rocket scientist to figure out that doing what I intended to do, AND RECORDING IT, would have thrown a texas sized monkey wrench that carried a LOT of legal weight in messing up their plans. They had the rest of that day up to 5:30 to figure out a way to stop me, and just like many other things they have done, they were not concerned with breaking the law to do it either. I went into the budget meeting at 5:30 and got met by deputy hightower who escorted me out of the room and served me with a no tresspass order to prevent me from being on school property. The stated reasons for the NTO were a pack of lies or partial truths twisted into made up scenarios that were made to look like I had done something wrong when I hadnt.

Last time I looked filing any kind of FALSE police report was just as much against the law as all the other laws they were breaking, so I shouldnt have been surprised. Keep in mind that I recorded all the meetings and can prove their claims are lies, but it will take an attorney to successfully fight back which I simply can not afford, partly because with our kids grown and out of the house, we do not get back a lot of our tax dollars that PAY THE FRIGGIN SCHOOL ATTORNEY I now need to fight. Another thing to remember is that the conversation with Nesbitt took place BEFORE SCHOOL, and when cops get a NTO to be served, they generally do it ASAP. But not this time. The deputy was specifically instructed to serve it when I came to the budget meeting at 5:30 that evening per the schools request. That was the schools added insurance to successfully keep me away from the meetings and doing what I intended to do, because even if I COULD figure out a way to get around the NTO, by waiting until 5:30, and after normal business hours when everything was closed, there would not be TIME for me to get anything done before they passed the 4 day resolution less than an hour from the time they had me served. Another school bonus for using a bogus NTO to accomplish their dirty work is simple fact that I wouldnt be recording any FUTURE board meetings to use as proof of what they were and were not doing in the future. What is really sad about this is that if even half the intellect being used to first figure out, and then accomplish, all their corrupt activities was being applied to educating the Carrizozo students, our schools academic scores would NOT be so close to rock bottom when compared to same size school districts across the state.

Its AMAZING just how fast MY posts vanish from this site!! Even at 2 in the morning!! I wonder why that is? Oh well, I saved it so will try it again tomorrow.

I didn't realize it was that easy to get a post removed. Wonder who did it and why.

Its easy for certain people who are friends or connected to this sites moderators in some way, to get stuff removed. And with the use of computers its quite conceivable that anything posted by Rose K has been technically flagged for special attention or censorship purposes. Who knows? Alls I know for sure is that in the past a lot of my posts disappear with no explanation, or like with this one, they post for a short period of time and then vanish with some returning to the site and some not. I have tried to get an explanation for this from the topix site, but have never gotten a response. Oh Well, Lets see what happens with my new comments pertaining to factual and easily proven wrongdoing/corruption activity by school administrators.
