U are right... the kids in loving 2 parent homes that make the kids do homework are indeed smart, however, this is NOT the usual case for blacks and mexicans

Right you are, teacher. The beginnings of this had nothing to do with New Mexico. It all began when they started PAYING women to have kids without any father being around the home in Detroit in the 1970s. Not by design, but by obvious result: If the biological father had paper ties to the home where his kid lived, the women lost her gub'ment money for that child. It cascaded downhill from there. Child support won't chase Indian fathers onto reservations, either because of 'sovereignty' issues as well.(Ask me....boy, don't I know)

Clinton put a work requirement on wellfare and it had a remakably positive effect on family cohesion for minority families as well as employment stats for mothers.

Two weeks ago the Kenyan ripped the heart out of Clinton's improvement by deeming 'bed-rest' and 'watching Jerry Springer' qualified 'work' to get well-fare.

It's best to just ignore them. These idiots like to read what they post and probably like to hear themselves talk! They feel they are just in their hatred for those less fortunate. These are the truly ignorant people.

it doesnt have anything to do with race or music, kids do better in dual parent homes when the parents are active. the truth is that single parent homes just cant provide the supervision it takes to makes sure everything gets done. to have two parents, backing up each others decisions.... that helps in all aspects. from behavior to actually studying and doing their home work. single parents have alot on their plate, and some of them do it to themselves being whores, some of them were raped, some of them were in terribly abbusive relationships (and even though the father may owe child support, no matter how destitute, the one who escaped the abuse should not let the abuser know where the parent and children went off to), some of them were in relationships they thought were going to last forever and just didnt, some of them were the .01% that birthcontrol didnt work for...
thats when friends and family should step in, and just help to guid and encourage these children, who feel like they are completely unimportant.

What a kid decides to do with his or her life has nothing to do with having a "dual parent home" because anyone can slant the news to fit their argument.

For example.

Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris, both had a dual parent home.
Jared Loughner had a dual parent home.
James Holmes had a dual parent home.

Now if I wanted to slant this into a racist argument I could then add that all of them were white. So twisting these facts can make an irrational argument that white kids from dual parent homes will commit heinous acts of murder.

There are plenty of kids from dual parent homes that get into drugs or do poorly in school. Just as there are plenty of kids from single parent homes that have done great in school and leading great lives.

The problem with the educational system isn't the kids or their parents. The problem is having a weak educational system with teachers, not all, who only take the job because they have weekends off and a summer vacation and as with New Mexico work just a few years and be able to collect a retirement check.

I worked in the school system. When taking a Mathematics position I asked an assistant principal about what direction I should take to prepare the kids for the upcoming mandated tests and his response was this, "It doesn't matter they're going to fail anyway."

So you go right ahead and blame the kids, make irrational racist judgments and continue to ignore the real fact when you sit and chose not to do something, you're as much as the problem as this assistant principal.
