Free lunch program on Buffalo's east side

Thanks democrats, for the Hell you have made on the east side of Buffalo.

I agree with you!

As the old saying goes; There is no such thing as a free lunch. The tax payers of Buffalo are paying for this hand-out program. Crap like this will only make them more lazy, they need to learn how to put food on their own tables. It's only a matter of time before these animals kill each other over one of these lunches.

I think it's great that the kids are getting a lunch. I'm sure a lot of them wouldn't eat otherwise. Every kid deserves a meal, no matter where it comes from.

Sorry but if you can't afford kids then tough, don't have them! And when you fall on hard times, make adjustments like FEEDING them FIRST before yourself, not ship em off to someones home b/c you will be suffering even more if this guy abuses your child !! I agree all kids need to eat but get a second job if you have to or shop at Save A Lot or Aldi's. Chances are if these kids are needing 'free lunches', they're eligible for foodstamps, which I'm sure most are getting anyway. So if the mother ( notice I didnt say "parentS"??) budgets correctly, her children won't have a need for 'free lunches'.

why should these kids have to suffer because our economy sucks! our country has no problem spending billions on a war that is not needed, and our own kids are going hungry. good for the people who are helping to put on this program. by the way to the brothers who are tryin to act "cool," we live in america where we speak proper english. so i think maybe we should take some of our tax money your so concerned about and send you to proper grammar classes.

OH MY GOD. I didn't see the part where in the end it says .. at the end of the month the food stamps run out.. WTFFFFFFFFFFFF? I get paid very nicely every two weeks and I will still shop at SAVE A LOT and ALDI's, and there are some things I just have to have at Wegmans, like the corn on the cob and toiletries, etc. If we can do it why can't they? Someone did mention were just allowing these mothers to be lazier than they already are and he/she is ABOSOLUTELY RIGHT ! When are they going to do this reform where only certain foods can be purchased with foodstamps? I heard something about that a while ago, I'm assuming it was never put into place. The purpose of that was supposed to be that no JUNK food could be purchased with food stamps.. This subject has got me totally burned.. ughhh

Sure, why not? Increase welfare allowance, HEAP, Food Stamps & everything else. Obviously these "minorities" can not afford to keep their Escalades, drugs & everything else on such meager government handouts.

All you big mouths should look at it differently. Those FREE balanced meals with milk are providing vitamins and minerals with protien and fiber that are keeping kids HEALTHY.

This food goes DIRECTLY to the kids. This is the best program. No abuse. Some of you people should find something else to bitch about. You are pathetic.
