Instead of our men and women in the military risking their lives and leaving behind their families...I say we take the convicted murderers with life sentences, repeat aggrivated sexual assaults, and child molesters, and give them nothing but their bare hands, ship them to Iraq, and IF they make it back home alive..they have pardon. Why waste ppl with ambition and love for their country?? Law abiding citizens...
This is my say anyway. I know that God will judge this man, and those other lost souls for their wrong doings. But,sometimes, it's hard not to judge....
God Bless and may this woman and children rest in peace. And I pray for peace for their family.
i just wanted you to know that i agree with what you have said. and it is very hard to forgive those that have done wrong, I know i couldn't do it if it were my family. He would have never made it to trial.but like you said God will punish him, thank goodness because we all know that the judicial system won't

Some say that the death penalty is cruel and unusual punishment. However, what could be more cruel than taking a life, especially that of a child. My sister (age 18) was murdered 18 years ago today while working a summer job. She was working to save money for college in the fall and her attacker was looking for a cash register full of money. I often think of how she must have pleaded for her life while he beat her repeatedly. This monster didn't show her any mercy and I have none for him. I think of myself as a Christian and I know that Bible says that I should forgive but... I haven't been able to do this. Honestly, I haven't tried too hard. If they were to set him in the electric chair I think I could flip the switch and not blink an eye. They say time heals all wounds but that isn't the case. Time just makes things bearable and you find a "new" normal. I think many people who oppose the death penalty might change their opinion if they lost a loved one in such a horrific way.
I am sorry to hear about your sister. I am a christian too, and I did not believe in the death penalty at one time, but I have changed my mind. I think people are becoming more and more lawless.

The only thing is, our society is so corrupt, with Freemasonry, the badness is coming from the top and flowing down. We need honest leaders at the top of our society. People like Bill Clinton (Dirty Dick), George Bush and Tony Blair are terrible examples to set the rest of society.

Amy, time DOES heal, and WILL heal. No-one should be nagging you to forgive the man who killed your sister. But she really is in a better place than he is, as she will be safe in the arms of Jesus. Murderers go to hell unless they repent. Take hope that no-one can hurt your sister any more. If justice is lacking in this life, it won't be in the next!

I am so very sorry for your loss.

The animal that took her life should be beaten to death just as he did to her. Unfortunately, the bleeding hearts give the criminals more rights than the victims. The Death Penalty needs to be revamped to be effective. It needs to actually be used to be a deterrant.

I think that poster is confused with the cop from ohio who was arrested the same time for killing his pregnant girlfriend.
The guy from IL has his own business which includes, running background checks, trying to catch cheating husbands, things of that nature

The man from IL had traveled to Missouri for the services for his wife and children. He was arrested in Missouri and is now fighting extradition back to IL.He has hired a team of lawyers including a hotshot who is known for getting well known folks in the area off of charges or reduced charges

I guess he got first-hand info on How To Do It. I guess his hot-shot lawyer will make it that the wife and kids deserved to be shot and killed.

Agreed. However, he will have a bleeding heart lawyer, who will turn this around and make it that the wife and kids "deserved" to be killed. If/when he gets sentenced to Death Row, he will sit there for years on end, getting one appeal after the other. His wife and kids didn't get to appeal their sentence.
Should he ever, finally, get put into the Death Chamber, he will only get an injection. Put to sleep, like a beloved family pet. What he should get is exactly what he gave - shot to death.
Ah, but the bleeding hearts will say "what if it wasn't him that did it"? I say, after a trial by his peers, let God decide if his soul goes to Heaven or Hell.

I think if they start giving the death penalty and follow thru with it, many of these losers will think twice before they do something like this.
Prison is too good for them, to expensive to our society. We need a change.

I have an idea, lets do like they do in China. Shoot him in the back of the head and sell the body parts. Speaking for myself, but not to sound pushy, I could use the lungs, heart, maybe his eyes. Does anybody know if there has been a prostate transplant yet. Boy, at my age, I sure could use one of those. See, that way, we/I would not speak ill of the dead, just like the good book says. Works for me.
