Do not get me wrong before that I was very thankful for Trinity (I was a very rebellious child), when I still lived in laweecome, and then Delphenous (forgive me if I misspelled) Trinity was a very well structured and ran institution. And Steve Buck (great man) helped me out a lot, teaching me to pay attention and getting me even more interested in computer programming (at that time in BASIC).

Unfortunately the place went to pot once New Hope got it.

I was there from 1990 through 1995. I seem to recognize your name Eric, though can not place it. I spent a few years on Co Ed boys and a few in Hazel house. (both after Delphinus).

I went to Trinity. I was there when Father Steve was running the place. The boys were housed in their own dorms. As well as the girls. The younger boys were in a different house then the older boys. However we did go to school together and eat meals together. We were not allowed to date eachother but kids will be kids. There were bad staff members there as well as some bad kids. In my time that I was there I went to one of the off site house's and to highschool. I ended up leaving Ukiah and came to the city back then. We did visit our families. So it wasn't like the kids were locked up. I just want to say I am a success story and there are other kids well Adults now just like me. I still keep in touch with some of the people I went to school there. I don't know what happend ove the yeas but it wasn't that bad when I went there.

If anyone wants to contact me, I was a resident there all through 1991/1991. First Lakotas then Co-Ed after I asked to be moved. Big mistake.

Staff or past residents, feel free to email me:

i was a one of the kids there from 1998 thru 2003 it was not all bad but some of the staff were power hungry and got a kick out of provoking me in to out bursts. i am sorry that the place closed cause it did help me it showed that people have a very inherent tendence to over use there power when helping others

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Gemini

You're in a warm-hearted and generous mood today, especially when dealing with loved ones and members of the family. You want to give them as much of your time as possible, and also to do anything else that will keep them happy. The only snag will come if you're trying to spread yourself too thin and you end up making promises that will be difficult, if not impossible, to keep. You may forget all about them but other people won't.
