give the no voters 4 times to vote out the tax increases in SWCS district. After all it is only right and fair, but of course the dead beat dirt bags putting kids as shields for money, so school workers dont have to give up great health benifits and vacation benifits, and raises that in this economy amount to above and beyond is disgusting and wrong.

Seriously wrong and no doubt some jack*** is going to spout off about go to college make more money, they are an idiot or a group of idiots thinking sure go to college doesn't guaranteee you will make $45+ dollars an hour or $50. an hour. And even if it does that doesn't help the senior citizens on a fixed income, but hey screw them so SWCSD can have 4 principles at one school, with great benifits, lots of vacation time, and raises that most of the civilian sector as well as some city of columbus employees don't get.

Jack***es ahoy! Renters shouldn't be allowed to vote on tax levies as I have said and others have pointed out before, and kids 18years old living with their parents voting to pay more property tax? Come on use teh breain those kids have no clue about making a mortgage payment, ballancing a check book, not going out to party, paying for what they want and keeping a roof over their head while taxes go up jobs diminish, and pay over all goes down in a lot of jobs.

Oh but wait scoot those kids out in the spot light for the hundredth time, play the pity the up and ocming kids as our future, well then lets have some morality in the classes, lets have some meeting the grades and not just churning out average or lower than average grades.

But ignoring that, I certianly have said no I do not wish to pay for 4 principles, new buses (they have a lot better buses than columbus or some of the crappy independent companies such as brunk or first student loosers) and then saying we need more money to keep all four principles in a school. We can't cut our pays or our benifits oh no..

wankers can't take no, and women harp on understand no means no.. OBviously a diferent standard of no when it comes to getting my money pried out of my hands screw me and many others that have said no new levies for SWCS.. Great just.. not it's lousy it's dispicable, and says you people suck and will not stop when told no because obviously no means yes try again any way possible to get what you want from the unwilling.

It's sad that Reynoldsburg is building new schools that they didn't have the money for to begin with. Now all grade schools who live less than 2 miles from school need to walk. That is ridiculous. I think people would rather have safe passage to school for their babies instead of newer and bigger buildings. Levy money is NEVER guaranteed. You can't bank on it, or build on it.

Ummm.... Ms.Lynn you must have graduated from a SWCS with all the grammatical errors in your so called response. The lady from Cleveland your response was perfect, pretty much what is was going to say! I'm going to go roll some coins for my mortgage payment now.

Typical argumentum ad hominem attack - that mean "killing the messenger" - if you don't know how to operate your brain.

Oh, and by the way, the location below a poster's name is where the SERVER is located...not the actual location of the person.

Good god, this district is, indeed, in some major trouble.

It's uninformed people like you that is the reason this levy didn't pass. Reynoldsburg does have the money to build the schools. The money comes out of two different buckets b/c it's two different levies. A bond levy is what funds construction of new buildings, which the citizens of Reynoldsburg voted FOR back in March 2008. An operating levy is what funds the operations of the school. What did everyone think....hey, let's vote for building new schools but let's not vote for funding those schools. What a JOKE!!! The school is not allowed to use the money from the bond levy to fund operations (i.e. re-instating bussing, etc.).

The well kept secret that you all didn't know was that winter sports were already underway. They already interviewed and hired coaches. How do you think they got on the schedules so fast? You were all so gullible it was pathetic. The money for sports and bussing was already in the budget for this year. You have been duped!

How long will it be till the SWCS makes the announcement, Oh we just found all this money we did not know we had. (Remember folks they pulled this once before.) Or they are going to say well, we still don't have enough money so we have to make cuts. It's a continous cycle with this school district. They will whine, lie and use our kids to keep getting what they want

This is a 7.3 mill permanent levy, correct? When does the
11.3 levy from 3 years ago expire...or does it? Being an
average home owner in the district, that is paying a hell of
a lot more than he did three years ago,,,and not even having
any children.....what cuts and sacrifices have teachers,
administrators, and other employees of the SWCS made
to make the district more solvent???

I may have been a little uninformed on exactly how the process works, but if you need an operating levy to fund the school (ie re-instating bussing, books for the new schools, etc)wouldn't you consider that before building. If I wanted to build a new house, I would make sure that I not only had money to build it, but to live in it too. BTW - I have voted for all the Reynoldsburg school levies because my children went there and now my grandchildren are there.

For those of you who voted "No" to the levy in SWCS, do you ever want to move from your house? Or is it the fact that you don't value education?

For the person who went on and on, did you ever go to school? The computers we use have spell check. If you're going to write some big long lecture, type it in Word, then spell check it then paste it into this comment section. It makes you look a little less pathetic and then someone can say, "At least he spelled things correctly."

Do the people who voted for this levy really suck because they wouldn't stop? Or would you and the people who voted no suck because you lost?
