OH puhleeeeze ... this is so ridiculous. I'm willing to bet that the emotional harm that the kids went through was a result of the parents over reacting. As soon as the parents get over it, the kids will too. Don't waste the court's time on these trivial cases.

What would you do if it was your Daughter or Son? People entrust their kids to these camps, I totally agree with the parents.

I take it none of these college gals are studying law? Perhaps child development? They should not be allowed near children EVER. I hope they go to jail so they can find out what it's like to be forced to do things they're not comfortable with.

No one should go to Jail over this. However it was absolutely innapropriate behavior on the part of the counselors... and they should not be hired back. The kids will be fine as kids usually are.. When the dust settles I'm sure Yasmina Doty will take the fall for it....

This is an outrage. Now, you cannot even trust camp counselors. I am terribly shocked. They should be tried as adults including the 16 year olds. They have no respect for themselves, the children, nor their own families. And to put the children on the web. This sounds to me like petafiles.(spelling??)... I say throw the book at them all and make examples out of them. That Yasmina Doty has been in trouble before.. Put her butt in jail..

At least 30 days to make an example... Why should these teens get away with it? So they can do it again in the future.

Joke or no joke, that is not appropriate. I think a quick jail time of 30 days will wake some of them up. I will tell you what, if it was one of my kids there would be no court, just my foot in someones &$$...

"The photos were taken inside a school cafeteria while the camp was in session, police said." so, these three 'counselors,' what, dragged these 10-yr-old victims up in front of a crowded cafeteria and had the three victims simulate sex acts? the parents have every right to be outraged and sue the crap out of all involved. where were the 'adult' supervisors? what kind of half-azzed summer camp allows 16-yr-old counselors to run 'the show,' no pun intended. maybe not jail time, but how about 1000 hrs of community service for each of the 'counselors.'

I was a teen along time ago and did some things I regret , but never in my wildest dreams would I have done what these counselors have done. These were young children not other teens, and to put their images on the internet is so disgusting I don't want to even think about it. Where in the hell did they come up with this idea? What they did was a far cry from a joke. I think these girls need some heavy duty counseling and some time in a juvenile detention center. Shame on you Attorney Vollman you have children how can you justify defending these perverted counselors.

Each family is suing for only 15 g's. The low number indicates that all they want is the $$$$, money hungry idiots. This will settle out of court very fast.

Ok, these kids were 10 years old!! I would be horrified at that age if this happened to me. These poor kids will surely have effects from this and anyone who thinks any differently is just as sick as these teens. Come on, you can't look at this situation as an adult. At 10 years old anything sexual is uncomfortable and embarrassing, come one people think back to that age. Trust me, if these teens were sick enough to do this now they will no doubt be just as sick in years to come, disgusting pedophiles is what they are!
