Connecticut's Recession Tough on Young Adults

This is not news so what is the solution? It is a shame that a lot of people graduating from college will find themselves jobless.

My family is very proud of me for graduating from HCC in 1981 majoring in accounting. Good Afternoon Everybody. How are you? All of us including Tippy and her fish are doing just great. Thanks for asking.

I read an article the other day about a peach grower who could not find anyone o pick peaches at 10 to 15 bucks an hour. That's a sad consquence of our welfare system. There are going to be lots of hungery folks before the mess our country is in is over.

I have picked apples a time or two...

Of course I won't get too specific but I held responsible management jobs for over 40 years during which time I collected a total of 2 weeks of unemployment insurance. How about you Sam?????

please don't bother wasting you time, he will never tell you,. i tried to have this conversation last week to no avail.

as far as the kids, i do feel bad for them. their opportunities are limited. they will also face much higher tax consquenses with all the crazy socialist spending going on in washington. what people seem to be missing with all the natl. health care, bail-outs, stimulus etc...is that the PUBLIC will pay a bill, with higher taxes, in the future ,to FUND all of this.
and the kids are stuck paying these bills the longest.....

That's eff'ing ridiculous! Idaho is a lost cost-of-living state, I imagine.... I would think a job like that would be a godsend. I could use a sideline like that- I'm often completely out of money 'til my next paycheck.

I'm posting too many times in a row, but DAYAMN it must be tough out there. I can't imagine owing tons of money in student loans and not being able to get a job. It's gotta be so 'effing discouraging. Yet a lot of these kids are going to vote for the very politicians who are perpetuating this situation.
And I really agree that the problem with all Obama's solutions is they come with a big bill, that we will have to pay. That's your discretionary income, your retirement money, your american dream money, all going out the window.

A few years ago I had the nerve to disagree with a post he posted and said he sounded idiotic so he has had it in for me ever since. I do not know him, just of him and I would not want to know him personally.

#19 is the A-HOLE, Ava, full of MANURE from South Carolina who refused to write on any forums in South Carolina where she lives. The first day that Ava was on, nothing but insults, and she never stop. The fact is that she is a nurse working in a mental hospital in Anderson, South Carolina and should know better. Her mental problems are worst then mine. Evil Ava does not like anybody, and never met any of us or exchange phone numbers and e mail addresses. Just read Ava and Idaho and other thugs and bullies insults and you know why I have mental problems. I write great interesting comments without insults unless I get insulted first, then look out.
