<quoted text>LOL- my ex-wife and I had a rottweiler bring us game, on ocassion. I am recalling that Michigan has at least one school district that DOES close for the opening day of gun season (deer). If so, that's a wise thing to do. Opening day here in my state, I was on the podium, but my heart was in the woods.
I left out the word leg. It was a bloody deer leg. She showed it to everyone with pride.

If I remember correctly, there are some high schools that have hunting safety classes. I'll have to Google it. Lol.

None of us knows for sure what kind of problems he was having with his teen. He says she is asked to do minimum chores around the house, the teen acted like she's a slave. And to publicly diss her family to all her friends .... dad might have gone a tad bit over board but maybe the child will learn a little respect.
All we can do is govern our own children and nobody does it the same. His kids, his rules.

Good advice. Kids with no responsibilities but lots of freedom can get into trouble too often. I know of a 15 y.o. teen who has interacted with the police more that any three adults- her Mom doesn't discipline her.

I wonder what kind of attention he would have gotten if he would have dropped a cream corn packed fudge log on her keyboard and closed the screen/lid hid a camera and posted her reation when she finds her computer caked with chit.I bet they locked his ass up.

Right. He didn't address what she said about working at his clinic or the getting coffee for them.

You never asked your kids to get you a glass of tea, coffee, soda? And working at the clinic? She is in school, said herself that she comes home and does her chores, homework and goes to bed. Clinic would be weekends, and I suspect that is something she enjoys. If she didn't she would not be doing it.

I wonder how this has affected this teen? I have a teenage grandaughter. Kids have a tough enough time in school as it is.What is this teaching her? Yeah its kinda funny but. I think of how she must feel.

I never said there was anything wrong with it, just agreeing that there is stuff we don't know. We saw an idiotic 8 minute 23 second long video out of their entire lives. You're reaching.

There are links on this thread and through any search engine that shoe the dad's Facebook posts. In one, his appalled daughter asked the public if there was any other career choices besides stripper for a victim of computer homicide. This is after hundreds of people said she was now emotionally scarred and would grow up to be a stripper. She says she is mad but its just s laptop. Have a good one.

No, actually we are in agreement on that we do not know. But really? Getting him coffee is not a hardship. All parents will say grab me a soda, glass of tea, coffee, and even some (although this one is wrong) a beer.

Again, I NEVER SAID THERE WAS ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. Just pointing out a couple of the things he read from her post and didn't address. Often I wake up and my kids have already made coffee for me.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Cancer

You have a tendency to go overboard today Cancer, whether it's eating too much food, drinking too much or taking on more than you can handle at work. You simply won't know when to stop! You're in a very sociable mood and you're also feeling very easy-going, prepared to take people at face value and to turn a blind eye to their faults and foibles. And you hope they'll do the same for you.
