Many children are well served by being away from their piss-poor excuses for "mothers". Yours are included. Children deserve a clean environment. Children deserve a good role model. Children deserve a mother who gets up every morning, SHOWERS, keeps their home clean, cooks nutritious meals, and sees that they have CLEAN clothes. Your kids live in a sty with a smelly sow who "forgets to shower" and her scummy boyfriend. They have my sympathy, and I hope the DCF worker assigned to you smartens up and gets them out of there for good.

It sounds like the person that this article was written about has a mental problem and a denial problem. If you can't admit the problem, you'll always end up in a mess like this.

Get some REAL mental help....try to understand what it is YOU are doing wrong.....and CHANGE.

There is no excuse for that. I don't believe hoarding is a psychiatric illness. It's more like a behavioral problem.

No matter what, it is common sense that it's dangerous to live around animal feces and isect infestation. There is no excuse especially when it comes to children. If you want to live in filth, that's your choice. But don't subject your children to it. As a parent, it is your responsibility to provide a safe, clean, and healthy environment. Anything less is just straight up neglect/abuse.

Making your children live in filth with animal feces, infestation, unsanitary conditions, rooms with no room to navigate because of trash and debris is, straight up, child abuse and neglect and they SHOULD be removed from your care until you've had counseling. Lumbergh is right. No child should be forced to live this way and you're just teaching your children your bad habits no matter how much you say you love them.

these kids probably won't have a chance. with our system the way it is, they will get taken away from a good home and stuck back with her. Can't our judges see that that would be the worst thing to do to these kids. Maybe that's the problem with most of our young children today. The courts don't care enough...they only see the old ways of putting kids back with mother. Wish they would get into the current century and realize that moms like this one only want the system to sustaine them and use their kids as a tool. so sad.

Why on earth would this lazy piece of trash need a babysitter or anyone to help clean??? She's a welfare lowlife who sits on her big butt in her pajamas all day!!! Living in filth IS abuse and so is teaching kids that it's ok to live off other people's work. I am a great grandmother who was given temp. custody of my 6 great-grandchildren 1-2-3-4-6-7 yrs old. They were removed one day when the churches or someone gave me 5/6 big black garbage bags of clothes.I was sorting it and the children, through their excitement had tossed some on the cot I had set up to keep clothes off the floor. They said it was messy. They said i had dirty dishes from many days ago in my sink. Well with 6 children and they all use a bowl and plate for lunch, then the sink was full. The children told the lady I always did dishes when the kids went to bed but that was not good enough for them. Also that day we had gotten a bushel of corn and the children were helping me shuck it and had spilled some of the husk and silk on the floor.The worker said the baby was on the floor eating a corn cob. Well I guess she never canned corn cause there is a big difference between a corn cob and corn silk. They never came in the apartment but left and went and got a policeman and took the kids. When I ask her why all she said to me was "you know why". These children were loved and taught many things, mostly how to be a good person. They were taught how to eat healthy and went to bed at a reasonable time, had food clothing and all they needed. They said there was a violation of neglect cause the kids missed to much school. Yes they were out for three days due to an eye infection which I had taken them to hospital and had excuse and note from hospital saying not to put them in school for 3 days. They didn't care they didn't want to listen to me. They had an anonymous report of things in my house. When I ask what this was they still said "you know". Well I didn't, but what they told me was something that was told to the baby's schizophrenic father. I said in court one day that social security didn't trust him to receive his own check so why did they believe all he was saying. They said to me this man is the legal father due to
DNA testing and left it at that.Because I was appointed a court attorney who turned out to be useless and I could not find out anything. It seems what she discussed with DCS was private and not for my ears even though they were trying to pin neglect on me. Then they wanted me to pleaded to dependency of drugs. I said to her in a loud voice " are you crazy"? I counsel many druggies but don't ever drink or use drugs. That is not me. also the children was placed with a family who also had two other boys who had been sexually abused by their parents. Through the next few months we started to hear the children asking what is s__ k D __ K and what was a B_n_r. this was from a 4 year old. we complained and complained and finally yesterday we were told the children had been removed from that home and split up and put in other homes. My daughters $450K home was denied because my daughter had been divorced 3 times 28 years ago.The last time we were in court the judge did not go against us she embarrassed the cabinet when they said it was inconvenient for a worker to go for the visits on Sunday.The response was " doesn't she get paid for that?" Now we are getting punished by not being allowed any contact for a month with the children. We are a very close family and I have taken care of all my great grandchildren over the years but now I am not suitable. wow. The children are being traumatized by the placement and moving around and telling them the mother is not suitable. They only want the money for the children to remain in Pendleton county. The Judge is not asking us anything nor is she listening to all of the facts. If she was told facts I am sure she would have other words to them. It has been mishandled and only the children are suffering. She is a good judge I am sure she will let these children go back in the family where they are loved and protected.We have contacted the Governor's and Senators offices but no response yet.

The mother to the 6 children had no choice but to let them go. She also was told of neglect because the kids got head lice from school and it went through all of them. I can see they knew nothing of children or how things get contorted from one person to another. The mother has cervical cancer and was taking med from the Dr. It was useful for her cancer. The girl had been up for almost 2 nights because the 4 mo old was a lil colickie and cutting teeth also. so when she went into the office she was nodding off a little and they automatically assumed she was a druggie. Maybe because of her age or the community we live in. Now it is a fight to get the children back and no one will help. all they want to do is see the bad side . why? because the DCS worker wants the money. the fact is they receive $3500 for these kids with the disability of one child and the wic and food stamps. But they were unable to help the mother. In the DCS rules it states they are to keep families together but not in my community. Their own rules say they can help families find housing etc but again not in my community. Here it is who you know as to what you get. she is a single mother trying to do the best of what she can. yes she is a little gullible with men. They promise her the moon then leave. Now she has her GED and attending college. Butttttttt can only have once a week phone call with the children. She is not consulted for anything of the children. Even they changed the babies name because they said the name of "Damien" was a devil name. Get real lady that was a movie.no one was even ask what religion they were but put them where they wanted. The mother was not contacted about any health issues either. They have many issues.@ Cant drink any juices except Cranberry. One is allergic to strep throat and could die from the medication they would normally be put on. one has a speech problem because of being premature. this one is receiving disability and must be worked with every day for walking and speech. The mothers tears are non ending and it seems no one listens to her for anything. yes she is young but she has a terrific support group of family members. When the children were first removed we were told not to help her or give her one dime. we have never understood this. now they say oh yes we never said that. well daaaaa. where is the watchdog for the watchdog. the DNA father is skitzo and is very violent at times. she ran from him and tried to hide but he found her and beat her up. we tried to help her but now we have just moved her out of town. no one listened to us when we told them about him. Social security does not even allow him to receive his own disability check so what does that say to you. He must have a payee who disperses his money for him. Now he has shown the case worker what he is like because he was caught on camera breaking into a place. he has full pace on cameras. so what do u think can he raise a 1 year old?

In the above story, several things bother me. First, this woman's granddaughter is the poster child for irresponsibility!!! SIX children and no husband?!?!?!? Oh, and having children with a schizophrenic partner?!?!?!? What is wrong with people????? Now a great-grandmother thinks she can handle SIX CHILDREN under 7 and under??? Get your slutty granddaughter to give up her parental rights and let those children be raised by someone with a brain!!! They are most likely doomed by genetics,but they won't have a chance if they're returned to you or anyone in your family. If you really care about those kids, let them be cared for by people with brains. People who won't have filthy dishes, stuff all over the floor, and chaos in their house. Oh, and I don't beleive for one second that they only missed 3 days of school and had an excuse from a physician. If that were the case it would have been a non-issue. How many OTHER days had they missed? I sincerely hope that your granddaughter's treatment includes a hysterectomy, that's the only way she'll stop breeding irresponsibly.

My problem with the woman's story is that the CPS just don't show up unannounced. Seems to me that the caseworker wouldn't want to risk wasting her time, in case, they weren't home. This looks like another case of deflecting the reason they were removed.

And, some of us are farsighted, please use paragraphs. I found myself losing my place in the rambling story(meaning fiction).
