Clearwater police say 16-year-old Ashley Philips as skateboarding with a friend Saturday night around 9:30pm down Lakeview Road.

She was such a sweet girl, no nothing will ever replace her but she will alwyas be in my prayers as will her family. She was a great girl, she'll never be foregotten.

Ashley was my best friend and was always there. I cried so hard when I found out what had happened to her. WE love You Ashley!

my best friend is ashley philips brother i was on my six week road trip out west in yellowstone national park when we heard the news of her accident
she was one of the nicest girls i have ever met and nothing in the world would replace he:'(

I had the opportunity to work with little Ashley. She was the most kind hearted person I have met. She had such a bright future ahead of her. Ashley will truley be missed.
