Sharks surround, kill kite surfer off Florida

It's time to tell those do gooder idiot enviros to pound sand. All those sharks should have been killed.

You can't "Kill them all."

There is a food chain. If you aren't aware of how these things work, thankfully some of "those do gooder idiot enviros" do.

The sharks did what sharks do. When you enter the water, you're entering their territory and need to keep an eye out. If you're not into water safety, then YOU keep out. Murderer!

2 lbs. shark steaks
1/2 c. teriyaki sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Marinate shark steaks in mixture of teriyaki sauce, brown sugar and lemon juice for 4 to 5 hours. Remove. Mix other ingredients with marinade. Broil steaks about 4" from hot coals for 5 to 8 minutes, basting often. Turn fish and broil 5 minutes more until fish flakes.

Everyday an estimated 100,000 sharks are slaughtered simply for their fins. Once brutally dismembered of their fins the sharks are thrown back into the water to die. Payback is a mother! As man's arrogance continues to destroy nature you will see more wild animals fighting back. Sharks have been around since the Dinosaurs. They will be here when man become's extinct.

Shame on this trash newspaper printing a story like this. What does this have to do with the South Bay?

It must be a white guy thing. Because If you told me there's a risk of me being eaten by sharks. I wouldn't be 500 yards offshore surfboarding.

My best friend fell into an aquarium and was eaten by a bunch of phiranha. I tried to pull him out but all I got was his hand.

Yeah, there aren't any kiteboarders, surfers, paddleboarders, windsurfers, or really anyone that uses the ocean for recreation in the South Bay. Nobody here in this seaside community would find any interest in this story.

I guess thats when you really find out just how good of a wind surfer you are.

Actually, I think it is an eye opener. I do not go that far into the ocean, up to my waist only. Besides I prefer a pool! Medianews owns the Daily Breeze, which by the way, is partially owned by the Hearst Coroporation. Medianews comprises 56 daily newspapers operating in 12 states. Hence, the Daily Breeze has a rich portfolio of articles to grab from - feel privilaged.

I might add the MediaNews filed for bankruptcy last month.

This is a sad story but why is this in our LOCAL paper? Please don't tell me the DB is going to try and go nationwide!
