Yeah right the Beatles ruined my life and caused me to be a drug addict. Then the Rolling Stones caused me to be an alcholic. The Beatles and sixties culture will never be matched. You are dead wrong and a narrow minded fisheyed fool.

The Beatles' Revolution of the practical, intellectual and emotional hippies as Reverend glides in human culture is constructive to human existance and processes.

I knew before I went in but was still surprised to see magic mushrooms on the menu.Amsterdam was filthy and full of hustlers, pick pocketers, and people asking for spare change.I'll never go back to that part but I would like to see Norway or Sweden some day. Amsterdam was also very Gay and I found a lot of the Dutch people to be rude.

The natives are translucent. I really like Sweden. Stockholm is architecturally beautiful.

Bringmedinner wrote: The reeking stench of tens of thousands of doped youth writhing in piss soaked mud, enthralled by their latest Beatles' "all you need is love" encouragements to paganism, is all mankind will remember about this motley crew. The Beatles' encouragements to licentiousness and mindless crowds screaming in maniacal surges of emotional idiocy were highlighted by naked John playing puddery and dopiness in bed. This was not music. This was not art. This was not sanity. This was cynical manipulation of very stupid crowds of lost youth being told that self-infatuation and killing the unborn for convenience was the pinnacle of human reason. you are describing to follies of youth and the awakening of a generations. your dull and colorless assertions lead nowhere and leave alot to be desired. speaking of mindlessness it must be your calling.*snort* it was music. it was art. it was a message of love and tolerance. as someone else pointed out you could do alot worse, there is another side to the rock and roll coin.

Bub wrote: <quoted text>Lawrence this moron doesn't realize the Beatles worked hard to polish their skills and had to pay their dues in Hamburg in their younger days. They achieved what only other bands dreamed about. People I guess are just plain jealous of how big the Beatles became and we both know you don't get that popular unless you are offering great songs and lyrics yeah yeah yeah. good point. i don't know about the jealous part, just standard industrial strength apathy coupled with shabby run of the mill ignorance. which is often confused for enlightenment by selfish, sacrosanct buffoons.

Bringmedinner wrote: <quoted text> The Beatles' elevation of the physical, intellectual and emotional cripple as relevant guides in human culture is destructive to human excellence and progress. wrong. such an unfortunate and lacking interpetation of the beatles and their impact upon society and youth. the beatles re-invented the wheel when it came to rock and roll music. the message of peace, of love and of tolerance, which can be found throughout their music and in their songs, was not destructive in any sense of the word. what is or what is not a relevant guide in human culture is open to debate and purely subjective. and how does one accurately define what is human excellence and what is human progress, it is open to debate.
