Jack or Heath: Who 's the best Joker?

I Agree with everybody who says Heath was the better actor. He was phenomenol!The way he Just BECAME the roll was freckin inspiring! even close to the end he was so into the roll that he wouldn't even speak to anyone unless they called him Joker! And I know he went insane and I can see why to tell you the truth playing a role like that. who wouldn't? Kudos Heath. Kudos.

Jack is much better. He has the charisma and darkness.

I saw the movie and I think it was okay. In my opinion, I think they hyped the movie due to Heath's passing. I wouldn't call him genius or anything - I think he played the psycopath well but it wasn't like stellar.

heath ledger was the best.he did a good joker.I think he was the perfect joker for the dark knight.he also scared me real bad to.

Two different styles. The original Batman had more of a comic book type of directing style while the more recent Batman was more realistic. Jack wouldn't have played the the recent as good as Heath and vis versa. They both did a perfect job as the joker for the character that was trying to be portrayed in my opinion.

Really Health got it hand down but the real winner is in Sid Romero got it

Both Jokers were great, but had their downsides to them. In Heath Ledger's case, I didn't like that they didn't have the Joker laughing gas. That's been The Joker's trademark since he 1st came into being. Jack Nicholson's Joker on the other was a weak coward scared of Batman when they fought and should've at least put up more of a fight & screamed like a little girl when he fell from the helicopter after Batman tied his leg to the gargoyle. Outside of that, I think they were both equally great imo.

Heath Ledger was a very good Joker but a bit too funny.

I thought Jack was brilliant and more serious. People say Ledger's make-up is more realistic but I'd say Jack's make up was more cleaner. Jack had a great death and had an origin of how he became The Joker but Ledger didn't. Ledger didn't even die but was taken in to custody. Wish that Ledger had an origin then he would have been excellent.

Based on this, Heath's Joker was not the Joker. He was phenomenal, but he was not the Joker. He created a character of his own.

The Joker is characterized by his extremely twisted sense of humour. Now, I know that most of you will say,'Lack of gags? "Wanna see a pencil disappear?"'. That is one joke/gag. Only one of the plethora which he usually tells.

Example of the Joker's jokes:

Joker: Knock Knock
Batman: Who's there?
Joker: Not your parents.[Commences to laugh]

Joker: So this guy goes into the hospital, his wife's just had a baby and he can't wait to see them both. So he meets the doctor and he says, "Oh Doc, I've been so worried, how are they?". Then the doctor smiles and says, "They're fine, just fine. Your wife's delivered a healthy baby boy and they're both in tip-top form. You're one lucky guy." SO the guy rushes into the maternity ward with his flowers, but it's empty. His wife's bed is empty. "Doc?" he says and turns around; and the doctor and all the nurses wave their arms and scream in his face, "April Fool! Your wife's dead and your baby's a spastic!"

This is the twisted humour. Heath had no humour, and no gags/deadly toys. While Nicholson's had tons of gags/jokes AND he was created like the actual Joker was, in a vat of chemicals.

Jack Nicholson made that movie for me , he stole it!
