Michelle Obama tapes cooking show with Paula Deen

Now that Paula Deen has chosen to use her cooking show to show her preference in politics, all of my Paula Deen cookbooks are in the trash.
Too bad she mixed politics with cooking.
Also, I will not be watching any of her shows on the Food Network.

Seems a liberal cooking show would be limited: strictly vegetarian, since the meat industry is cruel to animals and causes pollution. Cooking wastes energy, either gas or electric. Food is bad for you: causes obesity.

paula deen ought to stick to cooking with non-politicians. i won't be watching her shows anymore either. PD is always too over the top anyway. did anyone see the episode of her cooking with "Mr. Jimmy Carter" a while back. I barely could stomach that, but he's old and no longer on the scence...much anyway. Michele Obama is so unwatchable to me. Ugh.

Get over your bad selves and open up your hearts. Rachel Ray had JMc on her show, so what's the big deal. If I had her books, I wouldn't throw them out just because he was on it. It sounds like the "Civil" war, never ended. Can't the conservatives at least be civil and accepting? What would Jesus really say about your meanness and petty ways? "Love one another, even as I have loved you", Love thy brother as thy self", "Faith Hope, and Love, the greatest of which is Love". Unfortunately, I don't see much "true Christianity" in the conservative Christian movement. Mahatma Gandhi said it best, "Why aren't you Christians, more like your Christ".

How come if someone doesn't like someone who happens to be black its automatically racist? You made a comment about the Civil War never ending...Get over yourself. People don't like Michelle Obama or liberals for that matter because you try to push your socialist, racial and non substantial platform so hard, you're cramming it down people's throats...

Really? Conservatives are (trying to) preserve life, the true meaning of marraige and our paychecks we worked hard for. All the the things conservatives stand for are foundations of Christianity....But Liberals always find a way to forget that. Be more like Christ? Christ would never approve of killing a baby, 2 men getting married or a lazy person enjoying the same lifestlye someone who works really hard for is enjoying(but about to Lose if Obama gets elected due to his taxing ideals)...Show me how Liberals are the least bit Christ Like....just want an answer...

I stopped watching Paula a long time ago. I can only take so much of the screechy southern twang. Plus all her exuberance wears me out and gets on my nerves. No one is "up" like that all the time unless, of course, they have a little help. hehe Was Michelle all made up like she was when she appeared on the "View"? I have to admit she didn't look half bad on that show. She should hire a make-up artist for ALL her appearances. JMO

Celebs in general should stay out of politics. It does them more harm than good. Not only may you not like their choice but it makes them look like they know SO much that we should all follow them. Like what the hell does Oprah know and why should I vote for who she or any other star is voting for?

Girrrrrlllllll...I have always loved you, but I want you to know that you should have kept politics out of your kitchen for your own good. It is the people in the southern states who put you where you are, and MANY of us do not care for your politics. We love you, but can't believe that you have decided to "go Hollywood" on us--what a disappointment!! We have no problem with your personal choices, but will no longer watch your shows, and purchase your books, if you shove this down our throats on your show. I am afraid you may have truly just buttered your last biscuit. A faithful fan who even has your face hanging in her kitchen. I am broken hearted over this!! ugh!

I had not remembered that quote but thank you I will write it down. We should practice to make ourselves live up to it. We should all follow Our LORD more and our emotions and brains less. God Bless.
