Makes sense that someone who's job it is to PRETEND endorses Obama. Like minded people stick together.

Why would he be nice for her family...she didn't explain that. Maybe she needs to focus on French politics.

I think she made an innocuous statement that was really more for publicity, Vince. She has a new movie to promote. This is a rather benign statement where she does not out and commit to a candidate. The bonus is that she gets her name in the news about something relevant which helps her by getting press coinciding with the movie. I wonder if she is even registered to vote.

Mccain't choice of V.P. candidate Sarah Palin with her almost fanatical religious righteous stance against abortion even in those cases where a woman was raped or such pregnancies jeopardize her life are an imposition of Palin's religious ideologies on those American's which may choose to believe or practice otherwise.

And these extreme religious fanatical views of Palin are contrary to our Constitution which expressly stated that American's should be free to practice their religion unperturbed by government.

Therefore Jolie's assertion that Obama is good for family is justified in that families can be free from governmental intrusions which may seek to abridge their Constitutional liberties.

I am so sick of these two. They are no big deal. Better to contribute/donate to people starving in the United States.
Now they are even an authority on Obama.

They (Jolie and Brad Pitt) are helping families rebuild in New Orleans. Last I heard anyways. She is a goodwill Ambassador. She sort of has some clout as to who she thinks would be good for our country or the world.

It would be nice if this country's economy was just peachy so that we can all afford to go out and buy movie tickets that pay these peoples enormous salaries and concert ticket prices (springsteen)

Gonzalo,

Have you even looked at the extremist religion of Obama's and his good friend and mentor Rev Wright. Oh thats right Obama lied and said he wasn't aware of the Rev racism and extrimist views and then said he disagres with the church he went to for 20 years and who married him and baptised his kids and who gave him the title for his book.

Unfortunately for the Republicans there are more people that earn less than $250,000 dollars a year and are sick and tired of bailing out institutions like AIG which put their selfish interest first such as going on retreats to St. Regis and having handjobs.

And what is contributing to Mccain's eventual demise is his continued smear campaign to cast Obama as a racist and terrorist.

It is Mccain's weak attempt and failed effort to distract Americans from a most important issue such as the failing American economy.

And Mccain't statement, " the fundamentals of the American economy are strong." proves my point that his party is estranged from the American people.

Some that have no money don't go out to see how others are suffering in this country, let alone the world. We all have to look in the mirror. Some people can't even drop the change out of their pocket when the Salvation Army bell ringer stands in the cold by Wal-Marts. Let's all be real about this issue. We all can contribute better.

Isn't it really comforting to know that Jolie an Unwed Mother of 6 covered in tatoo's and known for carrying a vile of blood (not even hers) is going to endorse one of the candidates. Who cares? Her opinion doesn't mean anything to me and I'm sure millions of other people. Because she adopted some needy children and then had three more out of wedlock, wrecked a marriage, hates her father and is a hollywood actress that refuses to live in America because it's not good for her children. She thinks her opinion will make real Americans vote one way or the other. I am sick of Jolie/Pitt who think that because they are having an open affair and bringing more and more children into their affair that they are should back someone and everyone will flock behind them. It seems these actors/actresses are forgetting when they are on stage or reality living. Go back to your European living, Americans don't need your advice on the right candidate.

I was being sarcastic, meaning that Jolie would think Obama would be good for the country since he's all about the econoimic change. I guess it got lost in translation
