I can relate to her problems, but the only difference is that I used better drugs than she did. My preference was meth, cocaine, weed, LSD and alcohol. Crack give me a friggin break, I am surprised she is not on methamphetemine because you get a better high than you would crack cocaine. Well, anyway, she needs to decide when enough is enough and make a choice. Also, when she does clean up, I hope she don't write a book about it. I believe it is better to keep problems especially addictions to her self, her therapist and support group. Think about it, how many times have heard people say " I'm clean and I am never going to do those drugs or drink alcohol again, I learned my lesson." Or warn you about the dangers and then 6 months down the road or maybe a couple of years down the road they are back doing those dangerous drugs or getting crap faced on alcohol. I talking both celebrity and non-celebrity who say they are clean, but either lie or go back to it several months later. What Tatum O'Neal need to be is an inspiration by going to rehab and do what she does best acting. Actions speak louder than words, and as she focuses on acting there will be more opportunities and more positive press. Look at Robert Downey Jr., he is doing quite well and years ago a lot of people gave up on him. I don't want to come off as mean or insensitive, but that is the truth.

I feel bad for her, but at one point, people got to be accountable. Not like she didn't have all the breaks I didn't have in life, but i'm not smoking crack now, so you have choices in life! http://www.vintagevhs.net You need to start smoking crack. It would improve your personality. ricland

Time for a remake of the original Bad News Bears. Tatum O'Neal can play the Walter Matthau role, except instead of being a fall down drunk pool cleaner, Tatum will play a crack head. Lot's of possibilites here folks.

You know she's a talent, but she isn't the most comely chick in the world. I definitely would have rolled around hay with her a few times back in the day. Nowadays, she's gone the way of Sharon Stone, Susan Sarandon, Jane Fonda, Hillary Clinton, the yentas on the View and all those other washed up hags who pull some crazy stunts to get attention. I guess I'd have to see what's under the hood before I give my final answer. Has she done any layouts for Playboy, Penthouse, Hustler or Vanity Fair recently? I can't believe what you have written here. What does it have to do with an addict that relapsed? What kind of name is Jack Offerlott? You appear to be a sick jerk that has some very serious sexual issues. Maybe you should consider treatment. I'd print off a copy of what you have written and take it with you to a therapist. You need help.

However, they do know what they're doing. They have a lot of practice and no sense of decency. I know I'll bust in like 2 minute with you. What do you say?

Let me educate everyone, please... without judgement, please. There are many different views on this forum, but please let me educate you. Feel free to criticize me if you wish because I know who I am. Look at Tatum's family history. Look at her mother. Addiction is hereditary. I'm not saying that all addicts are from families with addictions and I'm not saying that all families with addictions produce children who are addicts, but the risks of being an addict is much higher for children who are born into families with addictions. This IS a proven fact. Sure.... you can make the choice to never pick up a drink or drug and I know that. I am an alcoholic and I've been in recovery for a few years. I am only 33 years old. I have a Master's degree (the only reason I am saying this is because a lot of people think that people with addictions are from a different class and we are NOT) I'm from a good family, but that had NOTHING to do with it. Yes, there are certain things that could trigger me to go back and use, but I also have the tools. It is a living hell living with this disease (and yes.. it is a disease... look it up) and it is ALWAYS going to live inside me, but I will do everything possible to prevent it. I can't promise I will wake up tomorrow and not drink, but I can wake up and say that I WILL not drink today. Please understand that I never thought that I would get here, but I am. I didn't choose this. Yes, I chose to pick up the bottle, but there is also a side to my brain that causes pleasure. The brain is divided into several distinct regions that are each responsible for performing different functions. In the center of the brain sits the reward pathway, which is responsible for driving our feelings of motivation, reward and behavior. The central job of the reward pathway is to make us feel good when we engage in behaviors that are necessary for our survival. These beneficial behaviors include eating, drinking and sex. There are some that find pleasure working, gambling, stealing, having massages playing tennis, playing golf, driving their motorcycle, getting a facial or going on vacation.... the list goes on an on. WE (yes WE) find pleasure drinking. This Is real! Please understand! Get educated on this topic. You may not understand and again... I hope you never will, but get educated. Stop Judging! It's hard for me (the alcoholic) to imagine what it's like to eat and feel good, but it does exist. I am telling you that it's hard for any person to believe this, but it's also hard to believe that people aren't depressed. It doesn't exist (my mother would say) Why? Because she has never been there. Please don't judge anyone unless you have been there and I hope you never will. I really do. Sorry for any type error's

What do you say? No time for insults, because I'm sure you will TRY to rip me to shreds, but you must have been there. Maybe not an addict, but someone who hired one for your pleasure. Again.... it's all about pleasure and your pleasure is from getting "sex" from someone other than your wife, girlfriend or boyfriend. It's either because your are unattractive or you just can't be monogumous. Which one???

Your life must suck not being able to hold your booze. You can't enjoy the finer things in life. I feel sorry for you, I honestly do. As for me, I'm just living life and enjoying myself. I'm an Epicurean, a connoisseur of fine food, drink, music and dames. I was merely making an observation afforded me through my experiences. Tatum O'Neal is a crackhead. Crackheads are a genre of broads, if you will. They have shared traits, like merlots of different vineyards have shared traits. That was what I was commenting on, sharing my expertise with others on topix just like you bravely shared your experiences as a lightweight. By the way, what are your stats? are you a fat chick or were you molested? I'm not asking because I intend to insult you. I'm honestly just curious. I like to sample damaged chicks every once in a while. Maybe we can talk sometime sugarpie.

I disagree with X-Doomer. I used to smoke crack, I've been arrested, lost my self esteem, etc. But.....then I hit the bottom low enough to get help. I'm not saying to pity " us addicts", but if U are informed at all, then U know it's a disease of the mind, body & soul. Maybe she's been "enabled" too much like I was. Have a small bit of compassion folks, not pity. It's a hard disease to put into "arrest", on a daily basis. I've been clean now for 4 years. And by the way.......who said she was a "crackwhore", she has money, she probably doesn't need to "do such things"!!! This is just a suggestion-DON'T CRITICIZE ANYONE UNTIL U HAVE WALKED IN THEIR SHOES!!!!!!!!!!
